Did you get turned away from the captains talk also?

Jason can you advise what I am to do? There was no capacity for me or my husband in the main 5 captains talk due to fire regulations (we were queues well before commencement) Additionally all of my paid photos (£600 worth) were at the same time as my allocation for the captain talks which I was not allowed to change. Therefore I was forced to miss them or sacrifice £600 worth of photographs. I was told to contact someone at your company for a refund but so far nobody has responded to me. Can you please help?

We had eight photos and we got two at each.

Can someone advise what I did wrong? Or unlock the thread!

Correct they did two talks. As soon as I realised the problem I asked at the desk for either a photoshoot move or a talk move. They said that they were fully booked and could not move me.

I am not on Facebook or Twitter and I never received an email from see tickets with the timetable. If they had said make sure you join the showmasters forum to get all updates there would not have been a problem.

Ok maybe that was my mistake but why was I given talk tickets at the same time as my autographs? And why when I pointed this out was I told there was nothing they could do?

Not given me talk tickets at the exact time as my photoshoots would have been the main one! Also letting me into the main talk of the entire weekend would have been nice also.

I am extremely disappointed with the organisation and level of service at this event. I had spent £600 on gold tickets for me and my husband and a further £600 on photographs with the actors. The tickets were received in good time before the event but unfortunately there was no timetable provided until we arrived at the event (apparently it was on a website a week before but nobody advised me of this), if there had been one before I would have spotted the clashes and hopefully had been able to re-schedule. When looking at the timetable (which cost £10, was it displayed anywhere else?) it became apparent that the photographs were at the same time as the talks. I queued for 25 minutes to discuss this with an agent but was told that everything was over subscribed and they could not move the tickets. Therefore I either chose to attend the photographs or the talks, as the photographs cost more I chose to go there and sacrifice our talk tickets. Secondly on the Friday evening there was the 5 Captain talk where our Gold ticket entitled us to priority seating and priority queuing. They must not know the meaning of the word priority as we had to queue with everybody else. The queue was so long it spanned the entire length of the concourse. On finally getting to the front of the queue we were told that they were already beyond capacity, had bought in extra chairs already and could not let anybody else in due to fire regulations. They could not provide a refund and said that I needed to speak to contact them by email after the event!. Again a major disappointment as the draw was for "The 5 Captains" and this was the only time that they were together. Also there was no goodie bag as they had run out when we went to collect them! I got my photos and autographs but everything that was included in the ticket was a waste. I am very unhappy that I did not get to see any of the Captains on the stage. Fingers crossed they get together again but with their ages it might not ever happen. Lorraine
