  1. Thanks. Saw that too but no mention on the schedules as of yet. Not getting there until after 1pm so hope I don't miss it.
  2. Hi, Just wondering if there's a press conference on the Friday like previous LFCCs. Thanks
  3. As far as your DJ'ing (Is that a word) skills are concerned, you were top notch. However, to be fair the website does say live entertainment on the Friday. http://destinationstartrek.com/highlights/friday-night-party
  4. Got an email yesterday evening to say I have one.
  5. Hi forum, I've just posted my usual day by day review of the events from the weekend. I hope you like it. There are a few videos and photos to accompany the review. http://www.thebeardedtrio.com/2016/03/film-comic-con-cardiff-review.html Rob
  6. Floor walks on both days of Film & Comic Con Cardiff 5th and 6th March 2016. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIv6-MRqoGw Rob
  7. This was taken from the second floor of the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. Showmasters' Film & Comic Con Cardiff March 6th 2016. This was the Sunday. Enjoy the ambiance of a comic con. Let me know if you see yourself in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty6wGQURgcg&feature=youtu.be
  8. Carl Weathers signs my Close Encounters Hot Wheels van. He was in the movie but the scene was deleted. On the blu-ray though. He worked along side Richard Dreyfuss and directed by Spielberg. He hardly remembered :)
  9. Here's the link again with the two talks removed. The floor walk video is still in there. Thanks to Queen_Sindel for letting put the link back up. http://www.thebeardedtrio.com/2015/10/film-comic-con-cardiff-review-and-videos.html
  10. Sorry about that. I've removed the talk vids from the article. I thought the restriction was video recording. My bad.
  11. Here's my review of the events at Film & Comic Con Cardiff on the Saturday. There's also a floor walk video and a few others of the talks. Hope you like it. Say hi if you see yourself on the floorwalk video. *link removed* Rob
  12. It was a pleasure to walk around to be honest (relatively speaking of course.) I think this was the best comic con I've been to in regards to crowds. At any point in the day I was able to get to the stalls with ease and the autograph queues were short and fast. Showmasters staff were friendly and informative. Even the sausage and bacon bap was nice.
  13. Wow! Well done! Excellent account and lots of cool pix. Geekness at its best! Interesting videos - thanks for posting them. Indeed - Geekness overload. Thanks for the kind words
  14. There's your convention right there Showmasters. Seal it in.
  15. Here's a list of movies that were released in 1986 (Yes I am an 80's fan) that Showmasters could celebrate: Ferris Bueller's Day Off Labyrinth Flight of the Navigator (compliance!) Highlander Howard The Duck (Yes really) Three Amigos Star Trek IV The Voyage Home Top Gun Stand By Me Aliens SpaceCamp The Hitcher Big Trouble in Little China The Fly The Golden Child Movies from 1976: Rocky Taxi Driver Carrie Logans's Run How about for an event this year we have a celebration of Jaws? My all time favourite and celebrating it's 40th this year. <ahem> Richard Dreyfuss.
  16. Sometimes it's just for the large screens at the front for those attending to see the guests.
  17. Hi gang. I've just done my day by day account and review of LFCC 2015. You can read it here. I also include a video of the Back to the Future press conference, 20 minutes of the Gremlins talk and a link to my top five tips for making the most of a Showmasters event. Hope you like it - Rob http://www.thebeardedtrio.com/2015/07/london-film-comic-con-2015-day-by-day.html
