Nana was the only reason I went on Sunday. She is really lovely. One of the nicest people there. Got a sneaky piccy.

Oh yeah I saw her. I smiled at her after I got my jaw off the ground. Very pretty.

Well I took my 12 tear old son to Star Trek this weekend. Never having been to a proper convention before or indeed ever having wanted to go to one I decided that my son ought to meet my childhood heros before they started to shuffle off. The event I thought was very expensive and a few marketing corners were cut, but hey ho, in the scheme of things it was OK. We stayed at the Premier Inn. Hats of to that lot. A lot of "The Crew" were staying there as well. All I can say is that all of my dealings with "The Crew" where met with nice polite answers even when I had dealings with them in the hotel, they where very helpful. Special thank to the young girl who gave up her seat so my wife could sit down. As for the Guests, well, Scott Bakula showed the captains what a nice guy should be, sorry Kate and Avery never got to meet you. Sean Kenny sat next to my family on Sunday morning for breakfast and we had a lovely chat. All in all we found most of them to be charming. My high spot was of course Nana Visitor. My son had an "Awesome" weekend, piccies with the captains, autographs and we both sat on the bridge. A great time. I'm sure some seasoned con goers will find something to criticise. But my son and I had a great time. Of course we are totally skint now, but we have some lovely pictures. Thanks to all involved.
