  4. So the horror section here is pretty much dead so I thought I'd rise it back from the grave and show you guys my collection of signed memorabilia I obtained at various signings.. I know there are a lot of horror fans out there so show us your stuff! Here are some of my collection: 1) KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE Poster designed by Joe Simko (sweetrot.com) and signed by all 3 Chiodo brothers (director/writers), couple Klowns, and lead actors Grant Cramer and Suzanne Snyder 2. 5. One of the first Premieres I did was the A Team in 2010, and there I had met Liam Neeson, managed to have a few quick words with him and he was very pleasant in his response to me and something I still remember now, he was also good enough to pose for a pic with me. Apparently last year there was "an incident" between Liam and some dealers on the day of the Titans Premiere in which Liam was going to sign for them until they were rather derogatory about him- to his face! Obviously this put him in a bad mood and so wouldn't sign for anyone at the Premiere. Such a shame that this happens. That's terrible, I would hate for that to happen if I've been waiting all day to see him. I went to the Stoker premiere and the dealers just booed at Mia Wasikowska when she walked straight into the venue (although she did later come out briefly to sign). I heard from a friend that during the Frankenweenie premiere, they were shouting abuse and flipping off Catherine O'Hara when she didn't come over to sign. No respect for the talent involved.
  6. Yeah they leave a bad taste in the actor's mouth and generally affects the true fans that want to obtain an autograph to keep and not sell on. I've not been to many premieres but I always dislike the way they run, push in front of people, and how they try to get more than one.
  7. Yeah, those dealers are like a wild pack of bloodhounds! Hate them...
  8. I thought this, but considering the reasons behind Ray Park's increase this was always on the cards. Plus he's more popular than ever now so grab it at £30 whilst you still can! Ta, Che-Snake :) I wouldn't normally mind but he has doubled in price where as Sarah Wayne Callies (from the same TV show) is at a respectable £20. I guess it's just down to what you consider them to be worth :) practically the only TV I watch is TWD, so £20 + £30 is a steal, but ifyou're like the show but aren't a die hard fangirl (like I! ;D) I get what you mean :/ Hope you end up meeting them! :) Ta, Che-Snake :) Same here, I never watch TV series but TWD is the only one I've ever committed to. I already have my TWD digibook boxset signed by FX artist Greg Nicotero so I'll definitely be getting both Sarah and Norman to add to it. Just wished I got Norman when I was in America because he was way cheaper. Just means I'll have to rethink about the other guests...
  9. Excellent guest. This goes to show that no matter how close we are to the event, big guests can pop up at any time!
  10. Ah man, one of my top guests to meet Hopefully she can come to the winter show.
  11. Linda Hamilton + photoshoot (to sign Terminator Steelbook) Danny Glover (to sign SAW DVD) Sarah Wayne Callis (to sign Walking Dead boxset) Al Matthews (to sign Alien Anthology boxset) Ralph Brown (to sign Alien Anthology boxset) Meg Foster (to sign They Live bluray) Dee Wallace (to sign The Howling bluray) Andrew Robinson (to sign Hellraiser poster) and if my money allows it: Diamond Dallas Page (to sign The Devils Rejects DVD) David Warner (to sign either TIme Bandits or Waxwork) Lena Headey (to sign Dredd bluray) Adrienne Barbeau (to sign either Creepshow comic or The Fog)
  12. Looking forward to meeting Danny. Glad I got some space left on my SAW DVD.... and hopefully for Tobin Bell and Cary Elwes (hint hint) :
  13. Yesssssssssssss!! I can finally complete my Hellraiser poster! Been waiting a long time
  14. The Lost Boys reunion at Collectormania 9, mainly because of Corey Haim. I don't think I'd bother with obtaining the others now since I wont ever get a complete set.
  15. Richard E Grant please! Since he was in the recent Dr Who, I hope Showmasters have tried to approach him. Apparently he never signs when he's generally attending premieres/events. I heard recently he ran away from the dealers who tried to ambush him. Ha.
  16. Perhaps Drew Barrymore for the ET reunion? Arnie would be great (although I've already met him), he would be too busy in his filming schedule to come here. I guess it will be someone current who is in town filming in london during that week?
  17. So cool, I've always wanted to meet him.. Would be great if you could get Richard E Grant as well for a Warlock reunion
  18. Yeah I was totally gutted he didn't turn up. He's one of those rare guests you just don't get everyday and his autograph would have looked great on my Hellraiser poster. Hopefully Showmasters will try and get him in again at another event, I really want to talk to him about Nightbreed too.
  19. Yeah I also heard that Ludo was damaged during transport. I can imagine the puppet is quite fragile since foam/latex degrades over time (it must be well over 25 years old now)
  20. For me the day was over far quicker than I had expected. Having already come to terms with the vast amount of cancellations I wasn't expecting more to not turn up (Hugh Ross, Robin Vidgeon, DJJ). It definitely felt 'quiet' today but overall I'm happy I finally got to meet Robert Englund and Bradley Gregg.
