  1. Thank you, anything you find out in the meantime will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Thank you! Any chance of their email address please?
  3. I have some autograph vouchers left over from this Summer's LFCC which I was hoping to use at the winter LFCC, but now it's not happening and I can't make it Brighton, does this mean they get wasted? I understand I can only use them to the end of this year. I have £50.00 worth. Is it possible to be able to use them next year under the circumstances?
  4. I'm pretty confident we'll see Robert Englund again! I was planning to get him on Sunday, but didn't realise he wasn't signing until I got to the event.
  5. Which July LFCC guests would you like to see brought back to a future Showmasters event, maybe the Winter LFCC? For me it would be Michael Gambon and David Bradley because they didn't have Solo Doctor Who photos when I went to get them. Keisha-Castle-Hughes, John Bell and Bill Hargreaves because I left my trading cards for them to sign at home!
  6. Hi - Nice Pics. Where did you get your T-Shirt?
  7. I put my photos in a lift free sleeve with a backing card to make them more sturdy. I then put them in a four ring binder.
  8. That's just it, given the popularity of Doctor Who I thought David Bradley and Michael Gambon would have at least one solo shot. It's not like I was expecting Showmasters to provide an obscure image from an obscure film or programme. And sorry, they are not mind readers, but they have been doing this long enough and to run out of all photos of David Bradley (except for three - and it's not three types but three in total) by mid afternoon is very poor judgement.
  9. I saw the photo, but assumed it was him!! Blimey! If it's not I'm sure they'll be a lot of disappointed people!
  10. David Bradley had no Doctor Who photos when we tried to get him around 2/3pm. Michael Gambon only had one three shot when we tried later in the afternoon. No solo shots. We queued about an hour and a half for David only to get to the front and find there were only around 2 or 3 photos of anything left in total. I was told by a SM lady, who was very nice, that I could go to the front of the queue if I came back later and more photos had been printed. I went back a little while later but no more came. I had to do other things and the situation with getting up to that level again easily meant I couldn't try again. Very disappointing that not enough photos were printed. Come on SM, you should know how popular Doctor Who is by now and not be surprised that guests like David would be popular for that. I'd understand if it was late afternoon, but for this to happen so early in the day is poor. I know trying to get high quality photos from old films and TV shows can be difficult, but some of the quality of the photos were blurry or out of focus. Roy Scammell, for example, did not have one decent alien photo for me to get signed. When you're spending all that money on an autograph you want it on a nice photo, right? Also can it be that difficult to find a full body portrait shot of R2-D2 from SW? I don't want one of him with other characters or half of his body! It's very frustrating!
  11. I bumped into him and I said hello and shook his hand. He was very pleasant. I didn't bother him for autos or photos.
  12. There are a lot of stories on here about people's experiences with photoshoots, but I just want to say how wonderful the guy manning Area C on Sunday was. I think his name was Phil, but I may be mistaken. He was brilliant! He was very efficient and organised everybody into place quickly and accurately, by being clear and articulate. Amongst it all, he kept a smile and also managed a joke along the way. Well done and also thank you for helping me out with my clash! I was really stressed out and you made my day a lot nicer!
  13. As I said in my previous post, I met many guests over the three days. Most were good, but unfortunately there were a few disappointing experiences: David Bradley: We queued up for ages only to find that he had to for his photoshoot, so we waited which we didn't mind. We were still quite far from the front, but we waited - not wanting to go downstairs in case we couldn't get back up again easily. When we got to the front we found he had no Doctor Who photos and, in fact, he only had two or three photos in total left at all. This is appalling SM. I would understand if it was the end of the day, but for around 2 or 3pm? I got an auto for a friend who gave me his own photo, I wish I'd taken my own. I left, after nearly an hour and a half with nothing for myself! A SM lady who was very friendly said I could go straight to the front of the queue if I came back later and more photos had been printed. I returned a while later but no more had arrived. I had other guests to see so couldn't go back again. Michael Gambon: Same problem as above, although it was later in the day. There was an open queue, at least this time, so no long waiting for nothing. No Doctor Who photos but for a 3 shot. SM, you must know by now how popular Doctor Who is by now! I would have expected at least one solo shot. Same happened last year with John Hurt - no solo DW shots were left by the time we got to see him later in the afternoon. Bill Paxton: Loved meeting him, although brief, but the lady sat with him was abrupt, rude and unhelpful when I asked if I could have a personalisation. I get really angry when I hear that in this situation other attendees are allowed. Same with photos at the table with some guests - it depends who's sat with them! I get all the reasons why no personalisations or photos but then when you see/ hear that other people have got them, it's rubbing salt in the wound. This has happened at other SM events before, inconsistency. Also, if there are no personalisations allowed, can we be told this before we pay and go up to the guest? It's not nice to be spoken down to in front of your idols! All it takes is a sign up like the one where Sigourney Weaver was. Ray Park: I spent £50.00 getting two trading cards signing! All I got was a squiggly circle thing on each! I got him years back and he signed properly! I couldn't believe it! What a waste of money! He was smiley and friendly, but I have no idea why his signature has deteriorated so badly since the last time I saw him! A real shame. I thought it might be because the cards were small, but the lady behind me got exactly the same on a 10x8! SM, I know trying to find high quality 10x8s from old films and TV shows can be hard, but the quality of some guest photos were very poor. Roy Scammell, for example, did not have a decent photo of the Alien, only blurry screen grabs. DEALERS! There was one dealer who I saw a few times holding up a number of queues. In the David Bradley queue for example I think he said he wanted 42 items signed! and he pushed to the front.Someone told me in the queue that he had a stall at the event! It is not fair that dealers are allowed to behave this way and I want a personalisation on my photo and I'm not allowed one! Yes he was also in the Bill Paxton queue!
  14. I met dozens of guests over the three days, here are just a few of my positive experiences: Sigourney Weaver and Bill Paxton: Lots has been said about them already so, in short, I'm still buzzing like a bumble bee! The lady sat next to Sigourney on Sunday morning was wonderful. Truly friendly. Sherilyn Fenn: An absolutely sweetheart. She had a lot of time for each person she met. I met her early on Friday and we spoke for quite a few minutes. Neve Campbell: Very down to earth and sweet. She has such a lovely smile. I love those Scream Films! John Ratzenberger: A real gent. Was very polite and Friendly. When I was getting Ray Hassett's autograph he came along to speak to him and joined in our photograph together. Ray Hassett: Was so lovely. We bumped into each other later and he remembered my name. Erik Bauserfield: Him putting on the voice and telling me 'It's a Trap' made me tingly all over!!! A lovely chap. Good for him for signing all three days! Disappointed I wasn't allowed by the SM girl to have a photo with him at the table, especially as there was no one queuing behind me! Marc Mclure: Very friendly and chatty. He seemed to be having a great time! Collette Hiller: Very nice and chatty - she took great interest in each person she met and even offered me a chair to sit down will she was signing for me. I couldn't get away LOL! Bill Hargreaves: We spoke for ages - Did you know he built 'Mother' in Alien? Great chap! The guy sitting next to him was very friendly. Kelly Jo Minter and Jennifer Ruban: So friendly and Chatty and seemed happy to be there! Tina Simmons: We spoke for ages - she was absolutely lovely! She told us how she was the body double for Lee Remick in The Omen. She showed us photos of herself with Gregory Peck and behind the scenes photos taken at Windsor Safari Park! What an unexpected treat! P.S - The little actors and extras have such wonderful tales to tell, I always find this. This makes them just as interesting guests as the big stars, if not more so sometimes.
  15. Not so much nervous but worried I wont get all the people I want, especially the big names!
  16. Thank you very much for your help. I will purchase the Diamond tonight when I get home. I hope I haven't left it too late for it to be processed and sent to me in time for the event. I understand that Diamond's are sent out. Regards.
  17. Thank you - and how do I contact the store? Is there an email address? Sorry if I am annoying you, there is a lot of information on here to go through.
  18. I have already purchased a Sigourney Weaver Photoshoot, but I am now thinking of getting a Diamond Pass. Is it possible to upgrade by paying the price difference or can I buy a Diamond and have the photoshoot refunded? Please can someone from Showmasters advise. Many Thanks.
  19. I see where you're coming from, but last year Carrie Fisher was announced without any warning of an announcement! So, you never know...
  20. Come on Showmasters, how about a cool announcement for Star Wars Day?! May The 4th Be With You!
  21. Peter Mayhew as he couldn't make the last LFCC.
