  1. What individual guests or guests from which franchises do you hope will attend next year? I hope we'll get more Lost, Aliens and Twin Peaks guests. Keep those rare Star Wars & Doctor Who guests coming. How about more guests from the prequel trilogy? They seem to have been a bit under represented over the years. P.S Harry Dean Stanton would be amazing.
  2. Here's some comments about some of the many guests I met: Sarah Douglas - Such a lovely lady. Very friendly and makes you feel like her best friend even when her queue is long. Mads Mikkelsen - Really cool guy and chatty. Jeremy Bulloch - A true gent every time. What else can I say? Alan Tudyk - Brilliant! - My signed photo is one of the best from the weekend. Alicia Witt - Was so sweet. Loved chatting to her about her surprise return to Twin Peaks! Terence Stamp - I was so scared about meeting him, but he didn't break my hand when I greeted him. A lovely man. I'm so glad for the opportunity to meet him. Martin Gordon - A real trooper and very humble. It was his first event and couldn't believe how many people wanted to meet him. Matt Lucas - A really funny guy and very nice. I couldn't believe we could have a photo at the desk with him. That was cool. Louise Jameson - Another who spends time chatting and shows genuine interest in the people who meet her. Nicola Bryant - Also chatty and friendly. John Leeson - the best tin doggy in the world. He told me not to eat my autograph all at once! Richard Franklin - I couldn't believe how popular he was, well I can - Star Wars! He was very apologetic for being late and walked down the queue and said hello. A great guy. David Bradley - I had to wait until the end of the day to meet him, but it was worth every second. A great bloke who signed nicely and still took time to greet you despite being busy. Michael Rosenbaum - bopping/ dancing at the photoshoot. Hmmm... ok... The girl in the blue top looking after the David Bradley queue was superb. Thank you! Chatted to loads of people in queues - thank you for keeping me company while waiting. I said this last time, I should have swapped details with some of you as we had so much in common. The K-2SO Cosplayer - You are one gifted young lady. Your costume was the best I'd seen all weekend and probably at any Con.
  3. What were your highlights from the weekend? Who did you enjoy meeting the most? Would love to hear your stories!
  4. I'll look out for the pinned post. Thanks.
  5. Hi, this is the first time I've bought a Diamond Pass and wondered what the process was for collecting them. I have asked before, but was told there would be information nearer the time. With one week to go I expected to see something, but there's nothing on the forum yet. Sorry if an answer to this has been posted elsewhere.
  6. Good to hear people had a nice time. It was a pleasant day.
  7. I thought it was thoroughly enjoyable and stress free day. The staff and volunteers were fantastic and I enjoyed meeting all the guests. Photoshoot and autograph queues were very well organised and I got help when I had a clash. My only disappointment was that some of the guests did not have a good variety/ quality of 10x8s to choose from. For example, given the number of different roles played by Deep Roy there were only, I think, 4 photos to chose from. No Doctor Who, Blakes 7, Flash Gordon or Yoda photos. I probably would have had one of each if there were any and they were good quality. Also no Solo portrait shots of Dean Cain or Helen Slater from their roles in Supergirl. Maybe next time. Despite this I had a great time. Welcome back Collectormania.
  8. Found them thanks! Was expecting to see batch number in big box up the top!
  9. My photoshoot tickets do not have batch numbers on them. Carlos Valdes & Dean Cain. I see Dean is all together but what about Carlos. I bought it as soon as he was announced if it helps.
  10. I hope we get a good replacement from the DC TV Universe.
  11. Thanks guys, just as I suspected. Now to risk or not to risk...
  12. I think I know the answer to this already, but was seeking confirmation. I am interested in the Superman photoshoot - what an opportunity to have a photoshoot with the three baddies! If I buy a photoshoot and one of them pulls out can I have a refund? I am having individual shoots too so would only want this if they were all in it. Thanks and I apologise in advance if this has been addressed lots of times before. Don't send me to the Phantom Zone
  13. Can you please confirm if he is attending Saturday and Sunday or Sunday only. Elsewhere it says Saturday & Sunday. Here it says Sunday. Thank You.
  14. Hi, I cannot see where to buy these. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Many Thanks!
  15. I don't know what happened with his photoshoot on Sunday morning. He didn't turn up for it so it had to be postponed to later. He was friendly and said hello & goodbye in the brief time we interacted during the photoshoot. I would have got his autograph for scream but the photos available were blurry so I didn't bother. A shame really.
  16. Did anyone bump into anyone famous at LFCC this year? (Apart from those who were meant to be there signing that is ). Last year I bumped into Steven Moffat! This year I think there was an extra from 'The Force Awakens' who came in a Kylo Ren Costume. I have not heard of anyone else.
  17. As always, loved the attendees's. Being somewhere like this is just the best, every queue I was in I ended up chatting to people behind or in front and made friends with a few of them. There is a lady who was in a red shirt last year who was there again this year, she is very kind and helpful but I sadly didn't manage to speak to her as she was in a rush somewhere. EDIT: Also the chap sorting the queues for Jeremy Renners photoshoot on Saturday afternoon, funny guy and was really making people smile the whole time. Brilliant! Likewise, in each queue I ended up chatting to people. They helped me get through the waiting for sure.
  18. I wasn't going to say anything, but now I am, so sorry if I am causing offence to anyone who posted here. I love you guys very much and I'm glad you had great experiences meeting the guests, but when I started this topic I intended it to be for people to talk about fellow attendees and Showmaster volunteers. I'm a bit disappointed that it has deviated away from that. I'm sorry if I didn't make it clear in my opening post. Have any of you got any nice stories about other people you met who visited the convention? Did anyone do something nice for you to help you out or you for them? Did any blue or red shirts wow you by exceeding your expectations? That's the sort of thing I meant XXX
  19. I know this one's only just finished, but who do you want to see at LFCC next year? Don't tell me you haven't thought about it :smile:I'd like to see some Star Wars TFA & Rogue One guests, DC TV actors. Harry Dean Stanton & Ian Holm for Alien would be an absolute dream, New Doctor Who companion Pearl Mackie (A joint photoshoot with Peter Capaldi would be amazing, Original Wonder Woman Linda Carter.
  20. He was very nice and chatted with everyone. An excellent guest I was grateful to meet.
  21. I am missing my hotel buffet breakfast this morning...
