Same here, got to meet him on Sunday and he truly is a very man lovely in person :). Let's hope he'll do an SM event one day :) Awwww, you guys met him?!? That's so great. I'm very happy for you two. He is always so lovely and extremely nice isn't he?! And I totally have to agree with Winchestergirl64: He really DOES make you want to meet him again and again. Plus he is by far one if not the nicest person I've ever met so far, too. So, I'll repeat myself here (as may others too ) but one can't really say it often enough (*just to bump this thing up again*) Tom Hiddleston would be such a wonderful guest for a SM event.

As scar! said. I would give it a try. You never know. I certainly never expected to even see Tom at the studios in Cologne and just liked the idea of meeting and hanging out with some fellow fans - and look what happend. I also agree that going there in a (little) group would be helpful, not only to draw some attention to you so the actors even realise there are some fans waiting but also you don't feel completely stupid standing there all by yourself.

People don't wanna go??? REALLY?!?!? But why!!! I think it would be super exciting. Oh, I would totally join you visiting the set if I could.

Keep us updated. I'd loved to see the film set for real - even from a distance. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to England just right now. But I'm hoping you guys will report back when you go. Pretty prease!!! Knowing that they're building up the sets and filming now makes me even more excited for Thor 2. It's still soooo long till november next year.

Is Surrey near Bourne Wood were one of the Thor 2 filmsets is? Sorry for my lack of knowledge in English geography. As I'd love to do this, it ain't gonna happen for me though. But why don't you guys who are able to get there give it a try?! I would love to hear that some of you also got the opportunity of meeting Tom (or even Chris, whatever) I would be so happy for you. And to be honest, beforehand I had my doubts about going to the filmset in Cologne. But in the end I'm so happy that I did. Haha, a picture just popped into my head. Tom and Chris with walking sticks and grey hair. Photo with both of them would still be lovely though.

I think he got tons of chocolate presents over the couple of weeks he was in Germany. He even mentioned it in one of his twitter-posts. Craig is lovely. Sadly, I wouldn't bet money on either Chris or Tom being announced for EMS, and if they were I would bet a lot of money on them getting cancelled on the last minute. I was actually quite surprised by the announcement of Jamie Alexander, but then again I guess her part is a lot smaller than Chris' or Toms. And she may already be finished filming at that time. Dunno.

Oh, Craig Parker!!! That's a really good example. I've met Craig on like 3 occasions so far, and I would totally agree that he and Tom are equally nice and lovely to their fans. Both are such sweethearts. Hey there. Yeah, he really loves interacting with his fans and seems to adore them as much as they adore him. And even though they said they didn’t have a lot of time, it wasn’t rushed or anything. He was all for proper introductions, shaking hands, asking peoples names, making sure the photo just taken turned out okay… perfectly nice to every single one of them. Yes to Avengers convention. Would be awesome!

Yes, I've met him in Cologne. I love his interviews btw. He's so well educated and always polite to the people and often has some witty anecdotes to share. And 'The Hollow Crown' was just brilliant. Wonderful cast. I loved it and Tom was truly amazing in it. It was not during a convention but while he was filming 'Only Lovers Left Alive' here in Cologne. And he really IS the way he seems like in all those youtube videos. The filmset was in a really big area which you couldn't access and Tom could have easily slipped past us in a dark car or van without anyone even noticing. But he took his time almost every day (as far as I know) to take pics, chat and sign stuff for the people waiting outside. It sometimes took him up to 20-30 minutes, but he made sure every single person did get a photo and a signature - even personalised. Ugh, I would love a Thor/Loki photoshoot. That would be awesome. With Thor 2 coming out in November next year it would be great to have some of the cast at LFCC beforehand. Where can I sign for that?!?

I too had the lucky opportunity of meeting him (still can't believe I actually did!) and I agree with every word you said. He is amazing and a very fun guy to be around with. I think his panels would be hilariously funny and very entertaining, and I can also imagine a very long signing line as he loves to chat with people. He NEEDS to be a guest at one of SMs shows someday as he would be such a great guest, even to those people who don't care all that much for him. His politeness and constant good mood are very contagious. SO PLEASE GET TOM HIDDLESTON TO ONE OF YOUR EVENTS SHOWMASTERS!!!

Me neither normally. For "Only Lover Left Alive" I was curious though, as one of the film locations will be nearby where I live, so I was trying to find out when exactly that will be. And a long time there was nothing to find about the progress on this film at all. And for Thor the dates August and September where mentioned quite a few times in interviews. That's all I know and am interested in anyway. Don’t wanna come across like some stalker. LFCC wouldn't have collided with Thor that's why I got my hopes up for this event a little in the first place. But I guess his schedule is crazy busy nonetheless. Any other event would be totally fine with me. I also hope he'll do some theatre work again in the future as I would love to see him in a play. (I wish I could've seen him in "Othello" at the time)

Filming is not for "Thor" though, but for his other film project "Only Lovers Left Alive". I think filming for "Thor" will start sometime in autumn. At least that's what's been stated in some interviews.

I think I googled it or maybe on IMDB, can't remember. He must have just left for Detroit recently (probably after Wimbledon?!). And there was a comment on his twitter page wishing him fun over the pond. So, I guess he's not in the UK anymore.

Unfortunately I just read that he is in Detroit right now filming, so I guess LFCC is clearly not gonna happen this year. Too bad. But still hoping for another event some time. I’m a huge fan of his, meeting him would be a dream come true.

Craig is a very lovely person and a fun guy. Nice guest.
