only just seen this. so pleased. Firstly , its a GOT guest i need and secondly i was about to book a 6 hour coach trip to Glasgow. Cardiff is only 3 hours. yay!!!

if theres a friendlier guy on the con circuit i have yet to meet them. so interesting to listen too in the talks and seems like he enjoys meeting the fans as much as we like him. terrific guest.

considering how busy and popular he was i was taken aback by how friendly he was. can't be easy keeping that going especially some of the odd characters he had to endure ( one japanese girl literally screaming into his face at the photoshoot !). but he was great. welcome back anytime.

he was so nice. for me the best thing about the con. i only found out he was there a couple of days before. got my fantastic beasts poster signed ,a photo with and a funko pop signed. all for 15 quid. bargain. .

very sad news to hear he has passed away. i never met him but heard many good things about him from people who did. Very fine actor with a long sucessfull career. He'll be remembered with affection.

i did tell one blue shirt about this as i saw it happen but she looked a bit sheepish and didn't seem to want any confrontation with anyone. there was no pit boss around in view. whole area was teeming with people. It needs to come from the top at every meeting. Hopefully QS can have a word that its just not being done enough.

In the future at showmasters events in the interest of fairness to other customers the desk helpers with guests or those taking cash payments before you reach the desks should take VT tickets from customers to prevent them being used again and again. I did notice throughout the 3 days VT tickets weren't being taken and as usual some of them got reused several times. Nobody took mine at any time, staff looked at them when i joined the back of the queue but never took them. My friend who had a very high number for David Bradley was given a low number by his mate which allowed him to jump into the queue when he only turned up at lunchtime. Another had a number of over 200 for Mark Williams but got handed one from another friend who had gone through in the first few minutes for something in the very low teens. which obviously meant he walked up into the autograph queue ahead of dozens of others who had got to his VT queue much later than him. Not really fair as some people missed out on getting things signed. Its no wonder some of the boards showing numbers being called hardly ever seem to change. I know of one group of people who used the same ticket 4 times throughout the day for Wil Wheaton !!! I know the staff have lots to do but it takes a second to just take the ticket when you go though. stops the reusing of the same ticket.

my friend and i looked at each other in shock as we waited in line at general entry to see people in the disabled queue going in early ( which is the correct way of treating people),some in wheelchairs ,then abandoned by their carers etc as they were allowed in and legged it up the stairs. Taking advantage comes to mind. naughty people!!!

great announcement.love Game of Thrones guests. Diamond pass bought killing my bank account but what the heck. i'll just cancel the rest of the year and hopefully recover by christmas. ....2020.

yes you can, i did that when they came to the Milton Keynes convention. I had james on one poster and Oliver on another and needed them just to add to the poster they hadn't signed. no problem for them.

booked my photoshoot in record time, literally in seconds. knew he'd be popular but not quite like this. so glad my mobile and details were too hand. sitting in the quiet coach 'A' on the virgin train from london to Birmingham, actually made heads turn by shouting 'OMG! hell yeh, F#%king yeh'. phoned a friend and got a warning for being too noisy. WTF!!!! its Slumbersnatch, don't they realise! I'm having a photo with ....a modern day legend. Train was delayed by 2 hours by an trespass incident on the line near Rugby but i was so excited and texting/facebooking to friends i didn't even notice or care. happy day Showmasters, only Michael j Fox and Stan Lee got me this happy.

not interested in Wrestling myself but as i go with my friend who is a big fan i often meet the wrestlers as he gets his autos and i take photos for him.I have to say the Wrestlers are the friendliest bunch of guests around. so happy to meet their fans. Great charactors too. They all seem to love it as much as the fans do. As i said i'm no fan of wrestling but allways find it good fun to meet them through my mate. Top people!

This happened to me too on the sunday. I asked if i could have the playboy cover signed expecting a no to be honest ( I know some guests are sensitive about what they sign, which is fair enough) but she said yes. Then added thats its extra for Playboy items and we'll call it 70 quid. I never questioned it as i didn't want to cause a scene but i was took aback abit having not had that happen before and having not seen anything on your site/forum or at the desk about it. Crew member didn't intervene .I was happy to pay ( still am as i got what i wanted )but had no idea that it wasn't supposed to happen.

groaned out loud when i heard this. such a shame but his work comes first. try again next year.
