21 photoshoots and not a single one overlapping. so pleased. cuts down the chasing around. does help going all 3 days so i can spread it all out. last year tryed to do it all in a day and a half. did it but just not enjoyable really. this is much better ( for me)

disappointed but with meeting so many people this year it was bound to happen . hopefully he can be re-booked for a future show. the fact he agreed to this show means its very likely.

i might get him to sign one of his CD's, he's a talented musician. I think he prefers it to the acting .

Top quality guest. can't believe i'm meeting a 'Godfather' cast member' ,loved that film. and 'Rollerball'. 'Misery' too . My friend is excited as he loves 'Alien Nation'.well done showmasters. the older guests have a great variety of films behind them, more please.

i had this same problem at a previous event. wanted to change the sunday photoshoot to a saturday because of train cancelation issues. went to the sales desk first thing and they were really helpful, i had to produce my new train ticket for proof i needed to leave earlier than expected. got it changed. i think it helps if the photoshoot isnt sold out on either day and there time to fit you in. you can but ask. showmasters are pretty good at solving problems.

there are several on the concourses outside the halls. charge about a quid per item of clothing. there was one too for keeping suitcase large bags etc if people are using hotels ( they use scanners etc for security). but dont know which hall they are using so it will depend on the location. its a massive site.

as its all on one level and in one hall at the NEC i'd say look at the banners hanging from the ceiling as you enter, there's allways a huge one with 'signing zone' on it. pretty much guarenteed that Christopher is going to be there.

really looking forward to the weekend,meeting some people i' ve waited years for. More excited about Birmingham than london. Thank you Showmasters, love your events. I'm proberbly spending way too much money but not missing out this time. just wondering who you decided not to meet over the years for any reason and ended up regretting it. Allways regret not meeting Burt Reynolds years ago at a previous collectormania. I decided not to travel down to london for just one person because of cost. Now with his health issues and age i cant see him coming back. I wince and my heart sinks every time i see his movies come up on TV. Also Kenny Baker., must have seen him over 30 times and didnt bother getting his auto because i allways thought ' next time', others were a priority,. then sadly he passed away. who do you wish you'd made the effort for but didnt or they canceled and never came back?

absolutely agree with this.Best letter i've read in ages as i know alot of people who support showmasters events who agree on this. the closer you get to an event the higher the train tickets go, hotel options become harder. The sooner we know who a guest is the better for booking. not wanting to take away peoples fun with the guessing games but close to an event being staged and you've signed the contracts with this guest.. just announce it. I have to get time off work and its harder at short notice to get people to cover for me.Just 2 weeks out from an event just tell us who it is. some of us can't just drop everything and pay extra costs we need to plan.
