Thanks guys :) I'm getting a little anxious as my first con looms but I'm sure I'll enjoy meeting all of you.

OK these may be silly questions to those of you who are veterans but ... 1. Is there a dress code for the cocktail party ( husband needs to know if he should bring a suit) and ... 2. Do they actually serve cocktails & if so are the prices reasonable?

I have been informed that I would like Corin Nemec to be invited. He does seem to be vaguely amusing ...:)

I can flail now and practice hiding? 139 days and counting ...

I'm loving all the suggestions so far but I'm curious - does no one ever invite writers or directors?

I've been a huge fan since the film too but this will be my fisrt convention because I'm not so great at leaving the house. I figure if anything will get me out of the house properly it will be this. I'm guaranteed to have something in common with anyone I meet. How scary can that be?
