Hi, If I get a VQ ticket for a guest on Friday, but the number does not get called, will it be valid on Saturday? Thanks

Guest Cancellation Emily Kinney
Shifty replied to Too Tall's topic in London Film & Comic Con Spring 2016
Gutted she has cancelled again. The main reason we were coming and now only two guests on our list, and I imagine Nick Frost will have an almighty queue. -
I mentioned it before on one of the feedback threads, but think it warrants it's own thread. Surely twitter is the answer to so many grumbles that people had about the weekend. @showmasters could be used to update people on virtual queue numbers, changes to guest information, schedule changes etc Easy to do over the weekend, stops us going up and down stairs when its not necessary and slowing everyone else down, and keeps us in the halls spending more money (maybe) For showmasters it will increase the number of followers, and they could surely sponsor it by selling advertising space thus increasing their revenue for future events. Surely a win/win situation

In terms of guest friendliness, this has to be up near the top. Steven Williams is just an all round friendly guy. The family in front were asking him if he was in Gremlins (he was not) and he was asking their children if they thought he looked like a Gremlin. Happy to chat about his different roles and how much he enjoys working. Had a picture at the table with him, and started the day off nicely. Anthony Carrigan was next, and despite playing bad guys in Gotham and The Flash, his persona is so different. Had a good chat about Gotham and another photo at the table. William Sadler, who has been in so many things, was just a genuinely lovely bloke. He said his last convention here was 10 years ago, and that he really wished he had come over more frequently as he was loving it. Talked about Bill & Ted, and a bit about The Flash and how Marvel and DC were really bringing the comic books to a new level, but also how so many series get axed in America (666 Park Avenue) without really giving them a chance. Costas Mandylor was next on the list and a good chat about the different traps in Saw. Like the sound of one of his new films Bite with Vinnie Jones (although we did get a bit of a spoiler.....). Happy to have a picture with us as well. Finally, Chad Coleman, who I was probably a bit nervous about meeting after seeing his rant on the tube. No reason to be at all though, as again, a very nice chap who was happy to chat Walking Dead and looking forward to his next series called The Expanse.. Also got a picture with him at the table. All in all, a really great day.

One of my favourites was Phil LaMarr, It was my birthday and I asked if I could record him wishing me a Happy Birthday as Ollie Williams the news reported from Family Guy.

I found him fine on Friday morning. Good chat about Revolution and Breaking Bad, and happy to have a picture with me across the desk.

The crew sitting with the guest will take the picture for you, and I must say they take very good pictures too!

Why not drive down straight from work to Stoke (couple of hours) and stay in a travel lodge and break the first journey up a bit. Easy run from A50 on to M1 from there

Not even two thirds full this morning. Not many people there.

Yes she did

Very friendly guy. Talked about Heroes, Mob City and Sons of Anarchy. If you buy two autographs you get entered into a draw to win a meal with him!

Lovely girl. Very friendly and chatty. Shame it was so cold there this morning, and not a lot of people. Talked about her love of horror films and discussed some of our favourites. And her dad was a mortician!
