  6. your a guy doing wonder woman? Yes--- I have a son who suffers from Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, We are both into comics and science fiction. My son was in hospital once just had an operation on his spine. I had a bunch of wonder woman comics given to me so I stayed with him in recovery and read him the comics , when he woke up the next day he had the Idea for me to do fun run as wonder woman. After many years i can't do the fun runs anymore. So he suggested I do collections for MD as wonder woman. I have lost 14 stone to do it, and so far this year i have raised 600 just on street collections dressed as wonder woman. And I am going to Collectormania MK on saturday and so far I have raised 340 pounds for things like waxing legs , false nails, 100 pounds if I drive up and back from the event in costume. My friends and workmates support me, My son designed the costume and My wife made it, she helps get me ready for most collections and anything local, for stuff in london I have learned to get myself ready. I take photoes of other cosplayers and the event so my son can enjoy pictures of my day out, if its local enough he and wife come as well. I have combined two things I love raising money for my son's desease and Comic conventions. Hopefully I will see you there and we can take a picture together?

  17. Hi Just a thought, Is there anyone traveling from oxford to london for LFCC on the saturday? Not quite sure how to get around in london and wouldn't mind hooking up with others who are going at the same time. I am taking oxford tube about 5 ish (in morning) to london. What do you think? This is for shared information and safety in numbers. Last year some of us had on superhero t shirts so we gathered together for the last leg of the journey. Please let me know if you are interested.
  18. Hi I am coming up on the saturday for LFCC, to enjoy the day. I have an hour drive to the bus station-- oxford bus to london , victoria station-- then tube to olympia. What tube line do i want from victoria to the event please. Second question. I have been challenged to wear my costume up for the trip. At each point, getting into car, on the bus, at victoria station and on the tube to LFCC i have to take a picture, Each picture of me will raise 100 pounds for my son charity, Muscular Dystrophy. I will be leaving at 430, at bus for 5.30, at victoria around 7 - 730, then tube . How busy is it at those times?. I will be in full costume dressed as wonder woman, my wife and her friends will get me ready and looking good, I will be raising money from sponcers if I shave this, pluck that, paint this or wear that. etc etc etc. Has anyone else worn costume up to a show? did you have any problems? Help and guidance appreciated Thank you
  19. I hope to be the best wonder woman I can be. Lost 13 stone hope to lose more. Would love to take photoes with other cosplayers.
