  1. Eeeeeee this has made me so very happy indeed! So long as he doesn't hit his head again or anything as I've had such bad luck meeting him in the past!
  2. Just made my husband jump out of his seat I screamed so loudly!!!! Agh amazing! Best announcement ever!
  3. The Quayside Premier inn is rather good, and far enough away from the main source of stag/hen nights. There is a Marriott in Gosforth which is wonderful but a bit on the pricy side but very easy to get to by bus. There are lots of lovely hotels by the coast which will give you a great view and the metro is only a couple of quid and gives you more scope as to where to go. There is also a Premier inn at the Royal Keys which is accessible by bus and metro but a bit of a walk on the other side so I would only really recommend that if you are driving. And yes there Re a few hotels on the Gateshead side of the river that are rather nice and will just be a short walk away from the venue :)
  4. this is fantastic news and makes me very happy indeed
  5. All I can every say about McGann is *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* thank you very much SM!
  6. Oooooh I LOVE Turlough! This will complete my 5 collection nicely hooray
  7. it had a brand name or logo on or something that they didn't actually have permission to use. Also it meant the queue was taking forever and I think the photographer wanted to make sure everyone got thier picture done. So two main reasons for not using the crossbow...
  8. oooohhhhhhh! :D :D this has made me very happy indeed! Now i just need to think which DVD do I bring to get signed....
  9. I would love it to be Christopher Ecclestone because that would be the biggest and best thing ever (for me anyway) but anyone from LOTR or Sherlock would be great (Vigo, Ian Holm, Martin Freeman, Cumberbatch etc.)
  10. w0000000t w0000t this is awesome news, well done once again showmasters :)
  11. I thought that bit on Watchdog just made it seems like sic-fi geeks are just wingers and a bit sad (which 98% of us are not) seemed more like a plug then a complaint haha! Poor journalism by an organisation responsible for protecting the most prolific (alleged) child sex offender. I know the BBC seem bad ATM but it's not like newspapers or anything like that divulged the story either or maybe that's because they would never do something like that (sorry shouldn't get into a BBC based rant here....)
  12. I just want to say that I didn't attend the event (mainly because I'm not a Trek fan which I feel is an embarrassment on my half) but hearing all about it and the things that were there makes it sound like the best event ever to be created. I actually feel jealous that I wasn't there and all the comments I've heard from friends was all about how wonderful the event itself was. Well done for making such a HUGE event happen and if it happened again I think I would have to be there (and get a bit more educated in the ways of Trek)
  13. my favourite James is an awesome guest and so much fun - win
