  1. I was able to book on friday whilst on my way to lfcc, guessing you guys got more added so THANK YOU!!!
  2. The area C photos definitely came out pretty dark which is upsetting when you've paid a lot of money for them. Also my Norman photo wasnt framed very well at all, we should be centered but there's dead space at the left side and we're very near the right side. As someone said before they dont make sure you're ready now either before taking it. With Malcolm, he would count down which was very helpful as you knew exactly when the photo was being taken.
  3. Is there any chance some more twin rooms could be added at con rate? Please ME/SM. Thanks.
  4. That's great, Thank you very much. Just didn't want to make the journey down all the way from Glasgow if I couldn't meet Norman in that one day.
  5. Anazing! Just hope I can get the weekend off work. As soon as I know I can book my ticket! Woop
  6. Sorry I'm on my phone and can't read through the pages. I was just wondering what time the show is on on the friday as its the only day I can manage off work. And is it possible to get an autograph and photoshoot with Norman Reedus just on the Friday? Thank you.
  7. That is great news because I still need to get the time off work approved and I was scared I'd missed out on a ticket whilst waiting. Will I also be able to buy a Norman Reedus photoshoot when I get there on Friday? Thanks.
  8. Bring Dean Cain back, pleaseee! Couldn't make EMS and would kill to see him. Norman Reedus....PURLEASE...or anyone else from The Walking Dead and for the unlikely... Tom Hiddleston and/or Benedict Cumberbatch - I'd literally sell my soul for either
  9. Are all the talks except Matt's & Red Dwarfs free then? There's two I'd love to do, and if so how would I go about this...do we still need to get a ticket?
  10. awww I was so looking forward to seeing him again. Couldn't afford a photo in Milton Keynes so was waiting for this, Oh well...I'm sure he will come again and now it means I don't have to come to Braehead this weekend. He was the only reason I was coming so I'll save some money
  11. I travelled down from Glasgow too, I didn't do any talks at this one so I can't comment on them but I have heard a lot of negative feedback. But I think free talks is a great idea, it really would make more people buy a photo/autograph. I know that when I attend an all weekend convention I don't decide whether to get a photo with a certain guest until I see him/her in the talk. And tbh I've gotten a photo with every single guest at every single convention because I fell in love with them during their talks. So I know that if I'd be at lots of talks at the weekend there, I would have gotten so many more autos/photos for sure. As for the staff, I had no problem at the ticket desk but I did find a specific member of the crew very rude...the same one who I found to be rude at Collectormania and one of the security guards (not sure that's SMs problem though?) didn't allow me to hug a guest in the photo shoot even though the guest had already told me it was 100% fine and had already begun to hug me)
  12. I only attended on the Sunday and almost everything ran smoothly. I was really upset that 2 of the photoshoots had sold out (I travelled 500+ miles overnight) and it was the 2 ones I really wanted. They were both Sunday only guests so I felt that the photos should have been sold only on the Sunday, I know you'll say that's not fair to the all weekend attendees, but what about the people who have to travel half the world to attend just one day when they really would love to do all weekend but can't. Also I know I could have bought online but these guests were either announced one day before the shop closed or after it had already closed which meant I couldn't buy them online, otherwise I would have. At other events they hold photos back for each day, so say you're selling 600 photos, they would sell 200 a day...first come first served etc Also there was some very rude crew members, and there was absolutely no need for it....and they were the same crew members from Collectormania who I had seen being rude there too.
  13. I also came down from Scotland and was still waiting at 5.50pm for a photo. All the photos before and after mine had come and gone from the table hours beforehand, whenever I asked what was going on they kept saying they'd "lost a batch" Luckily for me a pit boss took me right into the printing room and I was able to get it printed then and there before I left to come home that evening. But I sat waiting for that one photo for 3 hours when I could have also been out enjoying a meal with friends.
  14. I always ask for a hug in my photos, I'd never just do it without asking first though...I'm super shy so I suppose I tend to whisper it like "is it okay if I have a hug?" and everyone is always very accommodating. I've never been told no by a guest but I did have a disappointing experience this weekend. When I went for my John Simm photo I asked for a hug and John was more than happy to do so, he put his arms up as did I and then as we went to hug for the photo the security guard looked right at me and shouted NO!. I don't understand why that happened as John himself said sure and was 100% happy to do it, so I ended up having just a side by side photo with him and I left feeling pretty upset. And now my HUG FEST 2012 has been broken... (Could anyone on the Crew let me know why that happened? It was very upsetting, I felt like a child being scolded as the guy actually did shout...and whilst I was looking through the photo thread I noticed other people had gotten hugs & different kinds of poses with him which has left me feeling even more upset)
