Trek news and views

StarTrek online has an estimated 200,000 players worldwide the "faceless" people who do regular interviews on a variety of podcasts, Trek radio and Subspace radio as well as tweeting a lot about the game or using Facebook. Recently held a talk in a room that held 500 people, it was a lively debate and afterwards they mingled and interacted with the fans of the game and StarTrek in General. The customer relation officer also recently did an Interview on the Deck Eight podcast on the Trek.fm network where he indicated they'd love to come to London to meet the Thousands of UK and European players that will be at the Event. They also gave out unique items which amounted to about 3000 free giveaways. Given the attendance was about 20,000 that's not a bad percentage. The game is a lot more popular than those who don't play it think. I for one would love it if they came to London and did a similar talk as I love the game and it's social element.my fleet has over 200 UK or EU players and it's one of many fleets in the EU.

This is suggestions for The Star Trek convention right? Just wanted to clarify that or is it for all conventions.

Already wrote this on here but I will Post it again. A STARTREK convention should have STARTREK people and guests related to StarTrek. Larry wrote the StarTrek concordance and it's subsequent updates. He has also appeared in the show. Works tirelessly in the StarTrek community and is a respected and noted contributer to many aspects of Trek. He would be a fantastic and entertaining guest to have. Plus anyone who has heard his various podcast appearances will know his funny,has great stories and knows an awful lot about the subject. "make it so"

Larry Nemececk because his both entertaining, has a wealth of knowledge and has been active with relation to Star trek for a long time. His concordance is great

With the recent party announcements is there a cut off point for booking a party ticket? I already have the Friday ticket as part of my package but would like to book the Saturday ticket too,but am unable to at the moment.

How close to the event will we know what our "allocated" package autographs will be?

I know it's been mentioned already but I would to see Larry Nemececk at London, his a great ambassador for the series, works and interacts in mny levels and has great stories to boot! Def a must book
