  1. So happy you have managed to get him back! My son will be so happy!
  2. I don't care for Star Wars, even though I loved meeting Carrie Fisher in the summer. But the husband LOVES Star Wars, so any guest I can afford will be added to my list of autographs!
  3. Better start playing the lottery! Going to need the money if you announce someone my husband wants an autograph from!
  4. What happened to the gaming zone? It is the first time I have never seen one at a London event and it really upset my son that there was not one!
  5. Glad to see you had a good experience. It really does make a big difference to the day having the support and extra help when you have disability! Showmasters definitely outdo much bigger companies when it comes to supporting disabled people!
  6. Fantastic! Know exactly where I need to go now when I get there!
  7. My day ends later now, but at the same time, it can start later! Still don't think my son will be impressed!
  8. No clashes luckily, but son is not going to be impressed with the fact he has to wait till the afternoon for me to do all my photoshoots!
  9. End of the queue for the guest you want a VQ for.
  10. Which tickets? Entry or Photos? Cos I don't think entry can be purchased, but photos can.
  11. Well just seeing Jason's list makes me think that I might be willing to pay out for 1 Diamond Guest if I felt the cost was justified. Even then I have met James McAvoy, who is on that list, and I only spent the cost of a travelcard to do so! So not too worried if I cannot afford it, as I know there are other ways to meet them.
  12. Definitely not hotmail addresses, as I always use mine to email Too Tall and he has always responded. The Hotmail problem never occurred when I e mailed TooTall direct but it has been a persistent problem when e mailing showmasters e mail addresses. Never had a problem, so I guess I am just lucky.
  13. One of the main reasons that they are only preselling tickets and not on the day is that they can only sell enough tickets that everyone can get in, so hitting capacity with people not in yet can't happen! As far as I can see no one has said what the capacity is, against the number of tickets being offered for sale. Jason stated earlier in the thread that they are only selling to capacity.
  14. I think there will still be many who do not turn up till later. I will probably one of those people, depending on what guests I intend to meet.
  15. I have to agree but at the same I still expect it to be out of my price range.
  16. Now I can come, my one guest I would love to see and who has stated on Twitter he would be up for it, would have to be Clark Gregg!
  17. Should be beginning of the week, but definitely before the weekend!
  18. Definitely not hotmail addresses, as I always use mine to email Too Tall and he has always responded.
  19. Email Too Tall as everyone else has mentioned and explain. He will sort it all out for you. Showmasters are fantastic when it comes to helping disabled guests!
  20. They have just had another event at the weekend, so be patience. I regularly order last minute for the winter event and my tickets usually turn up in time. Mine have not arrived yet but I refuse to panic till next week.
  21. The online shop closed last week, so your only option is to buy on the day. You would have to get there early in order to get in 9am, but the queues should not be too bad.
  22. Usually whatever is available on the table, though I have on occasion brought boxsets and books to be signed. I prefer photos as well, but I hate the idea of having them signed!
  23. The new system is specifically for Summer LFCC, due to its popularity. Tickets are still available on the door for this convention and it is normally a much quieter con in comparison.
  24. I know how you feel. I had to turn round to my daughter and tell her there was no way I was going to be able to afford for both her and her autistic brother to go. Luckily she was understanding as she knows her brother loves the gaming zone there! Both I have to say, despite the increased cost, it will probably end up being worth it if the guests are amazing as they were this year!
