Managed to help out a lucky couple for one of these rooms

I have two rooms at the Doubletree booked and paid for B&B for the Fri and Sat nights but I can no longer go. I only paid £50 per night for each room. I have to be careful not to violate selling policies of the forum though My Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/david.mcgregor.73

Hi, is there likely to be a party on the Friday/Sat organized by Showmasters? Am I right in thinking they did this for CM18 and it was a big success but didn't run it for CM19?

I reckon should England make the final, a lot of British guests would cancel/reschedule/no show. It would be an all day/weekend event if england made the final - not just the match itself at 8pm

Agree with the Peter Mayhew comments, he was actually quite rude to me I thought. Even the crew member sort of mouthed sorry to the person in front who had a similar experience.

At the time we figured he would mean after the event or on his break etc, we didn't think he meant it literally

Yip really good show and magnificently organised by the crew from the queues to the guests and tickets etc. Only negative from me (and quite a number of others) was the chap that was doing the talks on main stage. I only attended a few of them but so many cringeworthy moments. At the walking dead talk today you could see everyone groan and cringe after getting stuff wrong which was quite embarrassing for the guests and attendees. Also his opening remark at wrestling talk yesterday was "I don't know anything about what you guys do" Jeezo! He was rightly put down by the guests. Joining in the live commentary for the HBO screening was probably un-neccasaary as well. Apart from that everything was great!!! Good work Showmasters

Hi guys, hoping one of the mods may be able to assist or point me in the right direction. I applied for press passes a couple of months ago and at the same time booked and paid for a press table at the event. Received an email with 'exhibitor' info on it last week so I know what I'm doing with regards to our table but still no word on the press information. Sent a couple of emails but no response. At the weekend, we were told press emails would be going out on Mon. I phoned Tues night to be told there were still working on them as they had loads (which is fair enough) - as of this morning we still haven't heard anything. I have been trying to ring the office today but it just rings out and goes to voicemail (have tried numerous times) so can only assume the staff are all setting up the event. This is the first Showmasters event we have covered as press so I'm not entirely sure how it works especially with no information and nobody in the office. My team have travelled down to London today from Scotland so I'm really not sure of the next step? I recognise this probably isn't the place I'm meant to ask these questions - although I'm not sure where to go from here?

I spoke to a woman from Showmasters today via phone, who said that apparently press packs will be sent out today and tomorrow (Tues).... I haven't received mine yet either. Hey, did you get your info yet? I have all my travel booked for tomorrow morning but yet to hear. I know they have loads to go through but its leaving it very late is it not? Its the first time we will have covered LFCC so this may be the norm Oh well we had to set off from Scotland and hope all is ok as we couldn't wait any longer for travel etc so we are on our way.

I suspect the surprise guest won't be there in person and it may be a video link to George Martin or one of the cast members. I wouldn't expect a guest just to turn up for that hour on a Sat night?
