Yeah definitely! hopefully going to sort it out and get it booked. im just curious as to how weaver will work for golds. with diamonds having priority with her package, then what happens about golds who get in first? do they line up for her as usual or do golds have to wait for diamonds to get in before they can join her queue?? Looks like my hypnotising trick worked :) Good for you - you can't do an event like this without a gold pass, otherwise as Loxias said, it would be just FAR too hectic - at least with a gold pass, to give an example, I have Neve Campbell and Lea Thompson booked and since none of these two are diamond guests, I can go straight to the shoot, queue up with priority queueing, get the shoots done and spend the rest of my time, doing whatever. Also its the next best thing after a diamond pass as well, which isn't for many guests, just the most popular. I couldn't see myself standing in queues to get VQ's as Loxias said. FAR too hectic and it would stress me out, too. Nah, the gold pass will calm all those nerves and save queueing up in those long queues and you can calmly just go to the shoots and get what needs to be done. All without the stress. A major bonus in my opinion. All you need to do in reality is give yourself enough time to get to where you need to be and that's that.

Not yet, but i am off work 2 nights before i leave. im travelling to london the friday so should arrive and check into my hotel the friday morning, so ill have wed and thurs to sort things out and pack. ideally wednesday to do some shopping and grab a few things i need then pack thursday. I pretty much have the same in mind about packing, although with the addition of a travel iron etc lol. I dont have a portable charger but my phone dies too fast so ive been thinking of grabbing one of those off amazon to put in my bag for the day so i can charge up during the day. Need to print my photoshoot etickets off and will do a list of the guests to meet and schedules when the full list and times is released. Also need to print of the directions to the venue too, but ill do that the wed or thurs too incase there are any changes. im keeping an eye out for the best and easiest way to get there as im staying near kings x so will be coming from there each day. Im told friday i can get tube to barons court then a 10min walk from there, sat and sun im told ican change to district line at earls court straight there so need to keep a check on that.

Im so happy i managed to book a shoot with the 3 biggest guests IMO, weaver, paxton and MJF....hopefully an autograph from weaver and paxton too but so glad ill at least get a photo with fox so will meet him ever so briefly

@collectorbob :clap: I just got an email back from showmasters and they confirmed that they can upgrade, so to speak...they said i need to buy the gold pass as usual then they will cancel the other tickets but i just need to contact them with the booking info for the weekend pass to cancel it then they will refund the £40 from that pass :dance: .... this is going to be needed...especially with Agent Carter herself being added recently!!

Most definitely, thats what Stuart and QS have mentioned, a way better chance at getting in a line for those guests to get an autograph. it will make the weekend so much easier as i love looking at the stalls too and doing some shopping so i think without gold it will be tough to do this aswel as fit in my shoots and autographs.

Awesome, thanks guys, yeah will definitely look at going GOLD i think, less hassle and it will be a bit more relaxed. so far going by what everyone was saying about arriving so far, id have to look at leaving my hotel at 6ish to get there at around 7am with regular tickets to get a good spot in the line inorder to get a good chance of getting VQT for weaver and paxton, however with the gold i wouldnt need to be there so damn early i think going by what everyone says about golds going in first anyway so it would definitely increase my chances of getting in the weaver and paxton line

Yeah im going to i think soon as i hear back from SM. As QS has said in another thread, i need to wait to hear back from them to see if they will allow the upgrade as ive already paid for the regular weekend pass. hope so though as after reading everyones comments on the gold pass it sounds great and ideal for me to have a more organised and less stressed weekend.

Brilliant thanks mate! need to print the tickets off still so ill check before i do :) If you didn't pay then yes they will be in touch. You can check by looking at the email you were sent by Eventbrite after you paid (the one with the tickets attached), it will tell you if you added the £2.50.

I emailed SM last week about the possibility of upgrading to GOLD from the regular weekend pass but havent heard anything. I am aware they will be swamped and very busy with things right now so i understand, i just wondered if anyone had any reply from them lately, again i understand they are busy, i was just worrying incase the golds sell out or something before they reply back to me with any info on possibly upgrading.

If for some reason i forgot to tick the boxes, which i dont think i did anyway, but if i havent paid the fee would SM contact me? Im 99% sure ive paid the fee to confirm tkts but just incase, dont wanna get there and not get through.

Yeah great post GG, it comes down to you and how your list of guests to meet goes. if your just going to meet the star wars guests then you definitely wont need gold passes as they wont be as hectic as say weaver and paxton. Most definitely, if you couldnt take advantage of the gold pass for guests like paxton and weaver to ensure you will get in the autograph line without a VQT then it makes the gold pass pointless to a certain extent lol Thats a relief :) Its for theese types of guests that the Gold Pass is really worth its money when it comes to VQ.

I asked as have many others questions along these lines regarding the gold pass. As it currently stands, MJF is the ONLY diamond guest where you cannot get an autograph from and so far all the other diamond guests, weaver, paxton, lloyd etc will all be VQT as usual so i think so far if you have a gold pass then you can join their queues at anytime like you normally would. if SM decide to change this closer to the event and say that you MUST have a VQT for these other 3 BIG guests then that will make the gold pass pretty pointless in my opinion, so i think until or unless they say otherwise, the gold pass will be as it usually is for ALL guests...apart from MJF.

Thanks mate, appeciate the info. im guessing MJF is the only 'exclusive' diamond guest, so the others like weaver and paxton and lloyd we can join the queues for like the other regular guests? I emailed SM for some info on upgrading to if alls well ill look at doing that this week with anyluck. will definitely put my mind at ease and also means i wont have to get up and leave my hotel stupidly early on the sat morning! Correct, especially if you have a high batch number, you'd be in a lot sooner with the gold.

Thanks alot, yeah will check out reviews and see if any seem worth getting. wouldnt mind grabbing one to bring with me though, would help during the weekend while im at the show.
