  1. Thanks so much mate!! really appreciate that! really helped me out, so glad i have an idea now of what trains to get, what platform and what to look for on the front of the train!! suc ha great help. friday hopefully should be find to do all the changes as ill be going around 12ish, saturday will be ok i hope too esp if its direct from earls court so i can just get kings x to earls court then earls court to kensington olympia :) Not directly, though the TFL Journey planner is showing a 'Replacement bus service' from Earls Court to Kensington (Olympia) on Friday. Presumably this is for LFCC, but I don't know where the bus leaves from outside Earls Court. If you're getting a District Line train to Earls Court, get one with 'Wimbledon' on the front & get off at West Brompton (stop after Earls Court) you can then get a London Overground train from Platform 2 back the way you came which will call at Kensington (Olympia), which is the next stop. No problem, I'm glad I've been of help :) The train you will need from Earl's Court on Friday will have 'Wimbledon' on the front (which is where it terminates) & West Brompton is the next station after Earl's Court. The station where you change to the Overground on Friday is West Brompton, and your train will leave from platform 4. The District Line train from Earl's Court to Kensington (Olympia) will have 'Olympia' on the front, which is where the train terminates.
  2. Wonderful thank you Magpie, yes friday i will be going so as your advice goes, i will get the piccadilly line to earls court, change there onto district line to west brompton then change at west brompton to kensington olympia. When i change at earls court is the train i need directly for west brompton or is it to somewhere else and i just get off at west brompton? if that makes sense. which station is it where i change to the overground then for the friday? And saturday should be fine then if i can go direct on district from earls. again ill just get a piccadilly line to earls then change to district to go straight to kensington olympia and agai when ichange at earls court am i just looking for the train which has 'kensington olympia' on it or to somewhere else and i just get off at olympia? Not directly, though the TFL Journey planner is showing a 'Replacement bus service' from Earls Court to Kensington (Olympia) on Friday.
  3. Yes QS and other people have mentioned in other threads that so far unless its announced, the NON EXCLUSIVE DIAMOND GUESTS, i.e. paxton, weaver, lloyd, gambon all DO NOT require VQT's, only the EXCLUSIVE DIAMOND GUESTS i.e. Fox, but again as Stuart said its not been 110% confirmed yet from sm themselves. I agree though, if these non exclusive guests still need a vqt then it totally makes the gold pass pointless if your specifically wanting those guests, because those are the guests you want to use it for to get! all the other guests wouldnt be much of a problem to get over a weekend in all honesty ithink. I think everything will be fine with the gold passes, its just the way some things are written in the shop descriptions, seems to be misleading in the way its wrote on Eventbrite it says 'Please be aware however, that for Diamond Pass Guests you will require a VQ ticket if that guest does an open signing session.' I've just seen QS say this on Michael's announcement thread (about Michael and Bill) 'Diamond Passes are getting priority, but the two are not Diamond Exclusives. Gold Passes get the usual priviledges for these two guests.' That's a relief, just it's misleading what it says on Eventbrite about diamond guests. Sam, for you to get a refund on your entry tickets you will need to email the store and ask them to upgrade your entry tickets to gold pass, they should still be able to find your order on the old system I imagine they will refund it to thee method you originally paid. Regarding the need for VTs for diamond guests we do not have a concrete answer for this just yet from the office. Queen Sindel has been in touch and we are waiting for this confirmation, we are at this time only able to answer that question based on our understanding of the system.
  4. 11.30 on the friday with a gold pass mate?? didnt think you'd need to be there that early lol. im picking my gold up friday too but wasnt going to get there until at least 12ish I'm a good pass holder and I'm aiming for 11:30, but that's just me.
  5. I loved that show too!! i still have it on vhs tapes when it was on channel 5 lol. i doubt they will tbh, i reckon they will just have shots of her more known movies/shows so more recent stuff. i found on google images plenty of decent publicity shots of her in character from ML posing with her police badge or with sammo. maybe get one of those printed out in boots??
  6. Sean pertwee was the same last year or whenever it was in milton keynes, he couldnt sign anything gotham related until the show was aired so alot of people i noticed were gutted about that. As I understand it alot of actors as part of their contracts are not allowed to sign stuff relating to their franchise prior to the film release (Gwendoline Christy and Star Wars stuff is a prime example) so it would be great to have Tom over and I'd love a photo, but I'd be gutted that I couldn't get him to sign something Spider-Man-y.
  7. Yeah im aware with the photoshoots but with autographs its still not 100% but from what QS and others have said until SM say differently we should be fine, so as it stands im assuming no VQT are needed for the NON EXCLUSIVE diamond guests...paxton, weaver, gambon etc which is good. I wish i could have afforded the mjf pack so i could get an autograph too but at least ill get a photo with him so thats great anyway
  8. This will probably be the journey i will need i think wont it? im coming from kings x so i think i get the piccadilly line to earls court then change to district at earls court dont i? just wanted to make sure ive got it right in my head, trying to remember from last year but cant. lol. Not directly, though the TFL Journey planner is showing a 'Replacement bus service' from Earls Court to Kensington (Olympia) on Friday. 9. Well im going friday so will be aiming for around 12-12.30 so i can pick up my gold pass, only got 2 shoots friday so hopefully they will be happening a little while after getting in giving me chance to skope the place out. Saturday, even with a gold pass im looking at getting there around 8am ish, should be a nice time to get in the gold queue, not too early either like some regular passes intend to get there.
  10. Would definitely welcome more arrow, flash and shield guests to lfcc, Katrina Law (nyssa) and Karl Yune (Maseo) from Arrow are in the uk in july and about a week after LFCC apparently, so would be great to see them attend maybe??
  11. Wil would be great, id love a stand by me picture signed.
  12. I love the 1st gremlins too but i must say bttf wins for me if i had to choose. but guest wise its great to hear hes very fan friendly. ive always noticed too that alot of guests seem to be more chatty later in the day when the crowds mellow abit. ive met people where ive left it until late in the day to go see them as they are quite busy or steadily busy all day then later on when everyones rushed to meet them its a bit quieter, so you have a better chance sometimes of having more time with them and chatting abit, if you have the courage to ahah. i still get nervous with some guests lol. Agreed - I enjoyed both Gremlins and Gremlins 2 much more than either the Back to the Future movies and all the Aliens. You'll find that Zach is a very personable fellow who will definitely make you feel very welcome and personally I'd rather meet him again than any one else - as for being busy, I found during the end of the day he was easier to go and see rather than the morning.
  13. Thats totally the way im looking at it too! Im alittle gutted i cant afford the pass so icould get his autograph too but i also booked a photoshoot with him so at least i will get to meet him to some extent and have a snap to have a visual memory to treasure :) I'm with you on that one Shell, I would love to have bought a diamond for Michael and like you bought the delorean shoot and also the cast talk and was quite content but I really would love his autograph as well, but hey even for a few seconds we will still get to meet him.
  14. Ah okay brilliant thanks. im only in london once or twice a year for these events really so the tubes etc arent something im used to. So as you said friday i can get piccadilly line from kings x to earls, then change to the district line to west brompton, then change at west brompton to the overground platform to kensington olympia? Will i be able to do this the saturday and sun as it stands then? Yes, though the short District Line 'spur' from Earls Court to Olympia only runs on Saturday and Sunday with trains running only every 20 minutes but is only a 3 min journey and would save a walk The 'spur' is just the short stretch of track branching off the District Line from Earls Court to Olympia. On the Friday you can also get the Piccadilly line to Earls Court, then the District Line to West Brompton (towards Wimbledon, just one stop) then change to the Overground platforms and it's a short ride on the Overground to Kensington Olympia
  15. Nice guest indeed, be cool to meet him for a ravagers photo signed. I was lucky enough to grab Rooker at the winter 2013 show for a quick snap when he was looking around the stalls, he was there to see jon bernthal i believe so that was a surreal moment lol
  16. exactly the same as me...80s and early 90s is where its at for me so guests like zach, james remar and sherilyn fenn are big guests to me. i think they will be fairly popular and do well over the weekend in general but it will be hard to tell really, they all have fandoms so will always attract fans from something they have done but i think its fair to say they wont be overwhelmed like what sigourney or bill paxton or mjf/lloyd will be I found Zach to be quite chatty and fan friendly the last time he was here, which slows his queue down. That's not a bad thing though because you get a good experience :) I primarily go to these events for 80's actors and actresses and more often than not, unless they are proper huge, they're pretty much open queue for a bit in the morning and then again by the afternoon.
  17. Wow 10 mins for summer wasnt bad at all. i got to meet her last year too but i left it late in the day to get her as she was pretty busy all day so i went about an hour before the show finished and she looked so tired...she loved the arrow photo i took for her though, she'd never seen it before. Yeah i didnt realise there were so many on my list until i sat and went through them all lol, and since i wrote it ive added Hayley Atwell to the photoshoots and hopefully autograph too and i wouldnt be surprised if there are more guests added that id be interested in closer to the event. How long did you wait for stan lee with a gold? I managed to get him friday night without a gold so iwas pretty lucky really but i figured this year a gold would be great as i wouldnt have to rush as much. i just hope there are no issues using the gold for the autograph lines for the diamond guests like weaver, paxton etc...they are the reason i bought a gold really not needed a VQT for them.
  18. Hopefully they will confirm that the golds will work as usual for the diamond photoshoots and autographs too, apart from MJF ofcourse..I.E. after the diamond holders then gold can go through for photos or join any auto queue. Makes the gold pass pretty pointless if you cant use it for getting in any line for photos or autos with the diamond guests after diamond holders ofcourse. Yes golds will go first, this is with an exception of diamond guests which we are still waiting confirmation of the process
  19. so pleased i got a ticket for Hayley in the 4th batch for sunday, finally get a snap with Miss Carter
  20. Yeah i try not to buy food at the events due to prices. id rather save my money for other things, so as ive paid for breakfast at the hotel ill fill up on that in the morning and then hopefully wont need anything big until the events done. like you i usually just wait until im back at the hotel then grab some food and chill out/wind down. again as you say with the event ending at a good time, if i stay until closing im usually back at my hotel around 7 so still not that late. yeah s ee you in there mate! :) if i find it lol
  21. Either way im sure it will be alot better organised then last years hiccups and with no on the door entry thats a really good start! Im glad i got what seems like batch 1 of the gold passes because they sold out about an hour after i got my order in last night.
  22. Good advice about being prepaired. Im going to be doing what i usually do for LFCC and will be having a large breakfast in my hotel in the morning, which usually keeps me filled until mid afternoon so ill put a few small snacks in my bag with a bottle of water to keep me going then when after the show i usually grab some food to take back to my hotel. i try not to venture off outside to far incase of timings etc so just keep something with me to keep me going and give me a sugar boost in the afternoon lol
  23. thanks anyway stu, not sure ill bother 2bh, dont wana pay 30 quid and not seen anything other then part of the video screen lol
  24. ah right ok, i thought the privelages excluded was just getting in free, not the seating priority? well its on batch 11 now so chances are ill be miles back so probably wont even see the cast on stage I don't believe they will, I think it's diamonds and then batch order. The gold pass does state that the privileges are excluded from certain talks and I believe this is one of them
