  1. Would be pretty cool if John Rhy-Davies could attend seeing as he's attending a few Showmasters cons this year (I also noticed Kristian Nairn is attending quite a few too hence why I'm hoping) so pretty please!
  2. What about Being Human? That wasn't mentioned in the list. Plus Michael Socha & Kate Bracken were at LFCC last year and I know for a fact that Michael is more than happy to attend cons. Also I second the Misfits comment...would be fab to meet Joe Gilgun!
  3. Nope it was neither of them I bought a walking dead shirt and also a stark industries one both black with just simple logos
  4. I bought a few t-shirts from a stall at the LFCC last year they were just bog standard ones with printed things on they were 2 for £20...the bags were yellow & black does anyone know what the company were called? Thanks!
  5. Sorry another post from me, I'm in full post mode. Since he cancelled last time and there was speculation about him going to EMS in October, I wonder if there are any news for him coming to 2013 LFCC instead? I know I'm probably a little early for this but I just get so darn excited...
  6. Can't get into the LFCC website right now. Only reason I'm asking is I'm going to see Michael Buble the following weekend and trying to organise staying in London for the con and then the whole week before the concert as I will be coming from Scotland. I need a guest I love to justify me spending stupid amounts of money in London for staying a week & a half haha. :)
  7. Brill idea!! I would be happy with Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans or Jeremy Renner. Who knows...maybe even Mr Stark himself...
  8. What exactly is in the packs though as I don't know what a registration pack is? Will there be an opportunity to buy single autographs (like at LFCC) or do you have to go the whole hog and buy the packs?
  9. I have never 'crewed' before but would like to apply to help out at this years event in Glasgow. Can someone tell me how to go about doing this? Thanks
  10. I sent my e-mail last sunday and got an e-mail earlier tonight to say my photo had been posted on friday so eagerly awaiting the postman! How were they posted - 1st or 2nd class?
  11. Hahaha that Chuckle brothers! Sorry but that made me...chuckle. Bad pun I know Yes some Buffy & Angel guests would be good, I know it's a BIG ask since pretty much all of the actors have fallen out but what about Lost?!
  12. Well that's if he definately does come to this event lol, I'm not getting very excited about it since I was ridiculously excited last week only to be let down!
  13. Yeah I understand where you're coming from. But at the same time the photos were just put out on a table for people to collect them so they've already been viewed by loads of people and others could have stolen them if they really wanted to as well.
  14. Any way the photoshoot photos could be put into albums for online viewing? or is that too much of a big task? Would be nice to see everyone else's photos!
  15. I got 2 t-shirts from a guy who was selling 2 for £20, a Walking Dead one and a Stark Industries one. Also bought my friend a Vampire Diaries mug as a thank you as she was looking after my 6 horses while I was in London for the weekend. I fell in love with the stall that was selling the very original glass cases with figurines and artwork, some of them were brilliant but rather expensive or else I would have bought them all! Also loved the original Walking Dead artwork that was in 3 posters for £100 but again, too expensive! I also lusted after the Walking Dead & Iron Man custom painted converse shoes...there is a running theme here lol... Was a bit shocked to see a stand selling Walking Dead figurines for the normal price of 14.99 for the Rick & 2 walker dolls...but they wanted £34.99 for the Daryl one! What a rip off!
  16. I also don't agree about the staff being professional, the majority of staff I talked to couldn't answer my questions, were not helpful and they all kept telling me different information. Some told me they didn't know how long photos would be, others couldn't understand or simply wouldn't listen that the batch of photos from my shoot had been printed and my photo was missing, I had been hanging around for 4 hours until someone told me that I could fill out a form for my photo to be sent, and then half an hour later another staff member informed me there was problems with the printer and they were having them all day. I don't understand why I couldn't have been told this earlier so I could leave! Poor, poor, poor customer service.
  17. I wasn't told this until 5.30, by that time I had been waiting for 4 hours!!
  18. Completely agree with you, I'd love to go every year and I've only bee once, purely because the guests aren't interesting enough! The reason it isn't as popular as other cons is purely because of this. Surely getting some more recent and appropriate guests for what's on telly in the last so many years (as opposed to donkeys years ago like previous guests) would attract more people?
  19. I went to the London con and I would not be complaining one bit if Michael Socha came to Glasgow, he was lovely! But I completely agree, the con at Glasgow needs to be made better, I went to it a few years ago to meet Nicholas Brendon from Buffy and he was charming but haven't been back since as none of the guests were interesting enough. Hoping for some good guests this year :)
