Hey guys n girls I have got my ticket for a photo with Christopher Judge in costume on Sunday and I was going as an SGC Marine. I plan to still do this and obviously I will be carrying my M16 with me during the photo shoot just to make it more awesome looking. I was wondering with the showmasters permission am I allowed to remove the orange luminous tape I have put on it just before the photo shoot and then before leaving the photo shoot room put more tape back on it after the photo has been taken? I know I am sounding a bit fussy but the last thing I want is a photo with Christopher Judge in costume with a orange luminous tip on my gun. A showmaster's member can inspect the gun again after I have put the tape back on it just to make sure it is following the rules showmaster put in place and the weapon is ok to carry around again. Stargate Cosplay all the way guys wooooooooo lol. This is my first LFCC con and my 5th con overall. I can't wait to see everyone's cosplay outfits. I think it is going to be amazing.

The best bits hmmmm let me see. I have been to 2 chevron conventions so this is from my point of view. Give me a min to think. Best bits........ Staying up til 2am / 3am in the morning talking to the guest's in the bar Getting drunk with mates Having a laugh with mates Meeting the guest Drawing on an Ori's face (you know who you are) Guest's willingly Skype another actor on there phone (Thanks for that Peter Kelamis, that was awesome seeing Patrick Gillmore) Parties Auctions Going to McDonalds every night for a kebab (you know who you are) Being stuck in an elevator with a guest Cosplay And of course the talks where guest's sometimes take clothes off (Thanks for that Robin Dunne, I was happy for a good month after that) So yeah not that many best things about chevron just all that I mentioned in the list and more. Hopefully you can experience all of these as well. See you there.

Thanks for getting back to me. Balancing on my feet would be fun but I think some people might find me a bit weird.

I have an M16 Carbine Airsoft Rifle (Plastic). I will gladly remove the batteries, put no ammo in the clips and also put the green or orange tape on the flass nozle (end of gun) but is it ok if I just carry it around in my hands all day. An M16 Carbine does not really have a holster. I dont have a strap for it either so it can't just dangle from my body, I would have to carry it around in my hands. Is this ok? I am willing to follow all the rules and submit to random weapon inspections like stated in the rules, I was just wondering about carrying the weapon around like this thats all. Hey guys n girls I will be attending LFCC on Fri/Sat/sun but on Sat and Sun I will be going in my Stargate Marine outfit. Its not the same uniform that SG1 wore its just british DPM pimped out a bit to look like Stargate Marine. I will have an M16 with me if its allowed through the door which should be ok at the moment. If anyone else is going as Stargate cosplay let me know and we can all get a group photo together or something as I think it will be awesome. Let me know on here who you are going as :) raiden58237

Yeah that helps thanks. I just want to get a batman comic for a mate and then get it signed by one of the artist at comic con for his birthday and I was not too sure who did batman out of the artist group going to LFCC.

Why is everyone changing at the LFCC. Do what Im going to do just turn up in your outfit. Im going as a SGC Marine. I got to carry my weapon around as well. I dont care if people see me in a military outfit. Im doing it cos its fun.

What do you mean by Peace Bond?

I have just read through this and I just want to make sure Im safe with my M16. It says here "Wooden or other solid (LEGAL) replica weapons must be peace-bonded (unable to be drawn)." I was just going to carry it around all day inside the hall and then pack it away before leaving. It is an airsoft weapon so it can be easilly made safe just by removing the battery. Is this ok?

I just want to go to the LFCC in my SGC Marine uniform, do I need to sign up or anything or is it ok to just turn up in it. I dont really care about showing off my uniform that much. If I do need to sign up I dont mind, I just dont want to go on stage in front of god knows how many people.

I beg of you please get him to do a live talk for at least an hour so we can all just have one amazing laugh with him and his amazing talent please. That would be absolutely amazing :)

Hey guys n girls I was just wondering, I might be coming as a SG marine one day in Comic Con and was wondering what the rules are with the guns. If allowed I would be bring an M16 airsoft rifle but with no battery or ammo in it so its useless but with the Olympia being in a bit of a public place I was just wondering if there are any specific rules I should be aware of. Obviously there are the normal ones like no weapons in public but Im thinking of once inside the Olympia hall and all that. Also whilst in transport outside of the hall it would be packed away so no one can see it. Get back to me whenever. raiden58237

Wahooooooo. I am so happy. I had so much fun at the last one. Meeting all the guests, catching up with a few friends and meeting new ones. It was one amazing day. I am so glad your going to make it into a 2 day event now. Wahoooooooooooooooooooooo. Now where is my holiday form for next year.......

Any answers from the showmasters forum guys? Any info on this idea would be good. I know its a wild shot from a staff in the dark but its something worth looking into surely.

Firstly I would just like to thank all of the guys and girls who helped make today possible. I know some of them were at the studio from midnight, all the way through to the end of the convention and then having to pack everything up as well. Fantastic job. Thankyou for making it possible to be at Elstree Studio's. One of the locations in which Star Wars was originally filmed. I was so excited when I entered that studio and just saw it. I never realised so much could be made possible in such a small location. The exhibit of all the original props, scripts and so forth were absolutely amazing. Seeing some of the pictures though where parts of Star Wars were scrapped did upset me a lot. Just seeing what had happened to it all was a shock. I will mention the problem with the ques. I noticed a lot of people were just cutting in. I did noticed one person was actually interviewing a few of the guest there on the spot when people were meant to be getting autographs. I think that is a little unfair as people have been waiting in line for a while and someone is just standing there with a mic and asking questions. I would also like to thank the 2 gentlemen who were dressed up in Storm Troopers outfits. I was surprised that more people were not dressed up in Star Wars outfit's in such an awesome location. You guys must have been sweeting buckets by the end of the day. Also a big thanks to some of the guys and that, that I have met at the convention. It was awesome meeting you and hopefully I will see you again next year at the next Star Wars convention or possibly the Collectormania convention or London Film and Comic Con. Also a special thanks to all of the guest who attended. It was absolutely amazing meeting you all. You were all fantastic. It was such a laugh meeting some of you and just shocking to see some of you as well. I have loved Star Wars for years and never though that I would ever meet any of you buts thanks again. It truely was an amazing day. May the force be with you all.

So who else is excited about meeting the cast and crew tomorrow? I can't wait. Im constantly saying in my head "Tomorrow you meet Dave Prowse". I cant stop thinking about it. Tomorrow is going to be an amazing day and nothing could possibly ruin it for me.
