  1. Would really love to finally meet 3 Star Wars actors that are virtually impossible to get at these events but I'm gonna beg for them anyway! Anthony Daniels please please please! Carrie Fisher ( missed her a few years ago.....please bring her back!) Mark Hamill ( apart from Harrison Ford....would be the biggest Star Wars guest to attend ) Showmasters make our dreams come true....
  2. Any chance of more cast from the original Alien? Sigourney Weaver (Huge guest....possible headliner?) Veronica Cartwright Harry Dean Stanton Ian Holm ( also for LOTR and many other films) Yaphet Kotto (also great Bond villain and Running Man co star). These are the cast I've yet to meet.....I missed Veronica a couple of years ago!
  3. I was just thinking how cool it would be to have Ron Pearlman and also Danny Trejo back! Two guests I have missed at previous conventions.
  4. This is very possible. Lets face it Keaton will have one or two jobs a year so I'm sure he has the time in his schedule. These events are becoming more and more popular and as such they deserve top guests.
  5. How could I forget Bruce Campbell! Awesome! Lance Henriksen is one of my favorite guests....he was truly a lovely guy to talk to, took his time with signing and happily posed for photos. He signed a beautiful Aliens screen print that I have and he really loved the art work. Michael Biehn was a little jet lagged and was very quiet but a great guest have. I got him to sign an Aliens photo but next time ill go for a photo from The Terminator perhaps duel signed by Linda Hamilton....what a reunion that would be!
  6. Having just met one of my 80's heroes last weekend..Knight Rider himself David Hasselhoff, I must say that I'm loving Showmaster's attempt at bringing back the old school legends from some of my favorite 80's films and shows. Couple of years ago we had Christopher LLoyd (just brilliant!) and Christopher Lambert, both hugely popular guests and proving that the 80's is a big draw for fans like myself. Sure it's great to meet new stars of the screen such as the Game Of Thrones and Walking Dead cast, but for me it's all about meeting the actors that I grew up watching on VHS and on Saturday afternoon television. So this years London Con treated us to Danny Glover star of the Lethal Weapon series and other great films and I very much look forward to seeing who Showmasters will unveil for its Winter Con show in October! So without further ado I would like to reveal my modest (or maybe not so) list of hopeful guests for this year's remaining shows and beyond! 1) Jean Claude Van Damme (Bloodsport, Universal Soldier, Kickboxer) 2) Sigourney Weaver (Alien Franchise, Ghostbusters) 3) Bill Paxton (Aliens, Terminator, True Lies, Near Dark) 4) Mr T (A-Team, Rocky 3) 5) Dolph Lundgren (Rocky 4, Universal Soldier, Master Of The Universe) 6) Linda Hamilton ( Terminator, Terminator 2) 7) Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) 8) John Saxon ( Enter The Dragon , Nightmare On Elm Street) 9) Rutger Hauer ( Blade Runner, The Hitcher) 10) Michael Madsen ( Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill) 11) Christian Slater ( True Romance) 12) Peter Weller (Robocop) 13) Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) 14) Ralph Macchio ( The Karate Kid) 15) Steven Seagal (Under Siege, Out For Justice) There are others of course but these are a handful of great 80's guests (a few of which have been at previous conventions) and one or two from the early 90's!

  8. It looks like Autographica have all the Bond guests with 13. Maybe that is being used to showcase the anniversary. Yeah that's true but I'm talking about really great Bond guests...I know they have director John Glen who i would love to meet but apart from that the Autographica Bond line up is made up of secondary Bond girls and a couple of minor actors. I just missed last weekends Goldfinger signing which had the three main Bond girls from the film which is a rare occurrence. I'm pretty sure that if a little effort was made we could have had maybe George Lazenby, Tim Dalton and a few of the more memorable characters from the franchise.
  9. I'm a little surprised that there are no Bond guests (apart from Steven Berkoff) at the event, considering the release of Skyfall two weeks later plus the 50th anniversary of the franchise. Would have thought it would have been great to get a handful of fellow Bond actors together on the 50th year.
  10. I know it wont happen because he was here last year....but getting Corey Feldman back for a Gremlins reunion would be awesome. Plus he could meet up with Data from The Goonies!
  11. Any chance of getting Temuera Morrison this year? he has been booked and cancelled at least twice but im a huge fan of Once Were Warriors!
  12. More Directors please??????? John Carpenter! True Legend! Massive sci fi and horror credits to his name! huge draw! John Landis! Kevin Smith David Cronenberg All four of the above have appeared at signings in the US or UK.
  13. Being a huge fan of the Horror Genre, i would love to see more related guests that i know are on the circuit. Robert Englund always seems to love meeting the fans (sadly i missed out last year) please invite him back! Linda Blair...another great guest that i have missed out on in the past. Rowdy Roddy Piper.....great in John Carpenters They Live! A regular on US circuits. John Landis...director of Thriller, American Werewolf in London. Loves meeting UK fans. Rutger Hauer....a huge draw for the US conventions...star of Sci Fi and Horror classics! Michael madsen....would be great to meet Mr Blonde! More Action stars! Christopher Lambert was a big draw last year....how about this year we go for Steven Segal? Van Damme? Dolph Lungdren? MR T? Terminator Cast Reunion? We have had Linda Hamilton, Michael Beihn AND Robert Patrick and Ed Furlong at previous cons. Would be a huge draw to get them all back for LFCC!! The Back To The Future cast were again a big success last year. More Goonies cast!!!! EVERYONE loves that film!
  14. Good feedback dannyvegas and I agree with all your points more or less. I was there for the two days but I too felt there was a bit too much emphasis on Doctor Who. Nevertheless I still considered it worth my while to get a flight from Scotland and book a hotel for the Saturday night. I met 14 guests in total so I cannot say there was nothing there for me. But for the future surely a guy like Dolph Lundgen should be possible? Or how about Brigitte Nielsen? Highlights for me were: John Hurt (true gentleman). Edward Furlong (can't believe I have met the one and only John Connor (except no substitute)). Douglas Tait (I had not even planned (read: budgeted) to meet him but he was so nice with other guests that I met him as well, great guy). Clare Higgins (She was really great with the fans. Standing in front of her table etc. Unfortunately her minder was not in control and after I paid two rude French guys jumped the queue in front of me and got her autograph before they had even paid). Armin Shimerman (Really friendly and talkative) Evanna Lynch (Good to see how she spent so much time with the younger fans) Sean Patrick Flanery (Great guy, also very friendly) I met Roberto Duran as well but I was not too impressed but perhaps I caught him at a bad time and it was partly my own fault. No personalisation for £25 and no posed photographs even though he was not busy. Unfortunately I had not seen the sign and asked him if he would mind having a picture taken with me. He just said something in Spanish and walked away. All a bit embarrassing I have to say, made me feel a bit stupid. One of the Collectormania guys said he was doing a photo shoot soon but no thanks maybe next time. I was also disappointed that the Rocky II picture was not available to be signed although that is not Roberto's fault I guess. Looking back now I am still glad I got his autograph, the guy is a true legend. I guess i met Roberto Duran at the right time, i also gave him a T shirt that i had printed featuring the fight poster for his first fight with Sugar Ray...so after i passed that to him he seemed in a friendly mood and told his son (the guy sitting next to him) who translated that i could take a picture of him holding up the T shirt. Then at the photo shoot he remembered me and gave me a big hug before we took the picture. Its a shame for me that im not into Dr Who at all because it would have been great but im not. Looking at some of the conventions in the states i get so jealous because they always have amazing guests from the movies i grew up with. I dont mind paying extra for the big guests...id rather get one or two rare and big names (like Christopher Lloyd and Christopher Lambert) then minor names that have appeared in Harry Potter or Dr Who. Heres hoping that they can pull off a few surprises next year : )
  15. John Carpenter (director) Wes Craven (director) Robert Englund Linda Hamilton Robert Patrick Edward Furlong (maybe a T2 reunion?) More from the cast of Goonies! Chunk, Data, Mikey, Sloth!! More action stars! Van Damme, Norris, Lungdren, Segal!! Lost guests. Entourage guests. Jonny Drama!! Game of Thrones guests (including Sean Bean). LOTR guests......with the Hobbit coming up these are bound to be back in fashion! Bond guests.....Diana Rigg was great. How About Dalton, Moore, Lazenby?!! Any chance of Carrie Fischer or Mark Hamil??! The Hoff (Knightrider was the best thing of the 80's!) 'Biff' from Back To The Future (after last year having Chris Lloyd which was awesome!!!). Anyone from the 80's is gonna be amazing!! Gremlins cast, The Goonies, The Lost Boys etc
