  1. Just to update the post, I’ve had my voucher emailed to me today so all sorted. Cheers all for your input.
  2. Thanks Mark (and everyone else!) - I sent a follow up yesterday. I don’t want to be pestering anyone but I could just use some reassurance that it’s in hand. I’m sure they have enough on their plate at the moment though.
  3. Thanks Namine - that’s confused me though, because of this which was in the initial update last year: “All tickets already purchased for LFCC 2020 will be valid for the new July 2021 dates so there is no further action needed to be taken on your part. If you cannot make the new dates then if you email shop@showmastersevents.com you will be issued a digital voucher that can be used at any Showmasters event, any time up to two years of issue” So are we saying that the above is now not the case at all? A friend of mine already received her refund vouchers last month for the same request as mine.
  4. Eyup. I’ve emailed the shop on 19th April to request vouchers for the tickets bought for LFCC. I’ve not heard anything back from them as of around 3 weeks later. Is this delay usual, or is it worth me getting in contact with them again, do you think? Cheers,
  5. Had a look through the thread and couldn’t see this mentioned - Saturday, second stage, 13:30 shows a free talk with Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred but as I understand it she’s only attending Friday, I think.
  6. ...edited to delete as something up with the photos.
  7. Okeedokey, that’s good to know. Just so you know though, the Capaldi listing on Eventbrite does have the same lower than normal extra guarantee as Meatloaf’s listing. An error, I’m guessing?
  8. Hey folks, About the extra autos - I’ve seen it said a few times that you can buy up to 5 extra, but the listing in the Eventbrite shop states otherwise: “The guaranteed option to buy up to 1 extra autographs if wanted” I only wanted 1 myself but I wouldn’t want anyone to be disappointed on the day.
  9. HEY! Rach...! I haven’t seen you for AGES. How’ve you been? Will I be seeing you there next week...?
  10. I saw it, cheers! I may not be able to make it to that though as my plans in the evening are a little all over the place. Would be nice to come along and show my face at least though!
  11. Hey folks. I’ve been coming to LFCC since 2011 but I never make a point of saying hello and getting to know anyone beforehand aside from the people I already know. I’m going to have a bit more spare time than I usually do this year, so wanted to make the effort. I’m Darren, I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday. Saturday (at least) I’ll be dressed as Rick from The Young Ones, so if you spot me, do say hello. I love talking to everyone about anything, so would be nice to meet y’all.
  12. I remember a few years ago (may have been 2011) SM managed to take an Oscar on loan from a very kind donor and arranged for photoshoots with it. I regret very much not having a photo that weekend. If there’s ever a chance of getting it back I’d be on that like a shot.
  13. Hi, if you mean the digital gallery, you should find it here http://showmasters.photoshelter.com/
  14. I'd really like the chance to meet Stephanie Leonidas. Grant Bowler too. Anyone who's been in Defiance basically. and Ophelia Lovibond.
  15. Jonny Lee Miller Lucy Liu ...and the rest of the cast of Elementary.
  16. I'm guessing there's still more to add? There's only 18 Delorean photos up for Saturday and 5 of those are one chap...!
  17. I was having a think the other day about which guests I would absolutely, without a second thought or regret, buy a Diamond Pass for - and currently there's only one I could come up with: Jonny Lee Miller
  18. Mine had to be meeting Natalie Dormer at her table and being pleasantly surprised at how much time she had for the people meeting her. I found her very easy to talk to, and she probably asked me more questions than I asked her. I left smiling my head off. Smitten! Also - being able to buy myself a cheeky extra photo with Emily Kinney. I was meeting her on the Saturday anyway, but thanks to the Eventbrite app I grabbed myself one on the Friday while walking around the con.
  19. Must say I do agree with this - in the main over the weekend most of my VQs were taken from me, but a couple weren't. I wasn't going to use them again personally but it's possibly open to abuse. Perhaps the VQ should be handed over with the cash when paying?
  20. Hi, had a whopping great time at LFCC this year and I'll post about that separately - just something that concerned me Sunday morning. I had to bring my luggage with me on Friday and Sunday, and on Friday, as expected, my suitcase was searched thoroughly. On Sunday however both myself and my friend (who had a large hold-all) were waved through bag check with no searching done at all, while a lass I was with had her tiny handbag checked. I get that they're trying to get folk through as quickly as possible, and I appreciate their trust, but I do think in the current climate huge bags like mine should have been searched on entry.
  21. Cheers folks. Yeah I was originally going to follow it by start times but Lalla's only got one photo session so I can't miss that one. If I miss Emily then I can go to her second session later on. And BC I'm happy to leave until last as he's going to be there for ages, as you say! I suspect I'll get through them pretty fast anyway and have no issues. Never had any before!
  22. Hey folks, I have a bit of a fun Saturday morning, and I think I've sorted it, but wanted your thoughts on it. I've got 3-4 going on at relatively the same time, but this is the order I thought it best to go. Luckily I'm batch 1 for all. Are we thinking this is the best order to do them in (given that Emily has a second shoot later in the day just in case)? Derek Jacobi – 9:30 to 10:15 – Batch 1 Lalla Ward – 10:25 to 10:45 – Batch 1 Emily Kinney (1) – 10:15 to 10:45 – Batch 1 Benedict Cumberbatch – 9:45 to 11:45 – Batch 1
  23. I've never had anything but positive things to say about SM crew and this weekend was no different. The chap managing Ming-Na's VQs/line on Saturday, and the lass taking the money in her line AND the chap at her desk were all really great. The lady scanning photoshoot tickets at Photo area A on Saturday too, making the effort to say everyone's name and wishing us a good day, she was lovely.
