  1. Yes, the shop let me check out and I've had my email ticket but shows no batch number. I've sent a message via Eventbrite to Showmasters so will hopefully be sorted soon. Thanks for the help and advice.
  2. I've just purchased a photo op with Sir Derek but all the batches in the shop showed as not available. The shop let me go ahead and buy but I'm concerned they might be sold out. Could someone advise? Thanks Firko
  3. Thanks for the feedback Jason. I've been going to Showmasters events for several years and I know you take on board the comments made and look to make improvements wherever you can. I was at the event on Friday and Sunday (missed the Saturday ticket by a few hours), and got everything I wanted to, subject to cancellations. Attending Friday certainly helped me get my bearings and some of the 'unique' features of Olympia. The lifts which went to Ground but only the YALC part with no access to the main hall were interesting - I found myself going back up to 1 to take the stairs down. Better signage about this would have helped. One thing I would suggest is a couple of stewards being allocated to the ground floor, just inside the main entrance. They could answer any initial queries and try and keep those main thoroughfares clear. I can't tell you the number of times my path was blocked by people taking photos of cosplayers (they're great but please move to the side to let the rest of us pass) or frankly attendees just standing in the way. When one of my photoshoots was changed from area A to B, trying to get through was very difficult and it just adds to the stress of trying to get there before the guest leaves. In general I thought this years event was an improvement on last years. The air con on floor 3 was wonderful and I did find space to chill out up there on Sunday between autos/photos. Keep up the good work!
  4. Hi Jason Thanks for the post. I was there for the Friday preview and all day on Saturday. The organisation was very good, as ever, but moving around the hall on Saturday from about 10.30am - 3pm was very difficult due to the sheer volume of attendees. Trying to get from the main talk stage to a photo op was nigh impossible - I'd suggest a couple of 'express' lanes through the hall so those not shopping can get through, and these might help the wheelchair users and those on crutches get by without getting battered and bruised! Thanks to all the crew for coping in very trying conditions. Firko
  5. Another wonderful Bitten convention - so sad that it is the last one, although I understand why. Somehow the small numbers make them feel all the more exclusive! A big thank you to Showmasters/Massive, all the stewards, crew, guests and fellow attendees. See you at something else soon!
