  1. It is rather silly I mean sure we all have people we wish we could meet but you know how much I'd kill to meet someone as awesome as Alex Kingston or Arthur Darville I mean these guys are really amazing not just for turning up to have a memorable time with the fans but for their heart and how much effort they put into what they do. I love Acting and I love any chance I can get to meet anyone who loves Acting that much and does it so very well. It's the Season Finale and to meet them on the same day they get to see their series aired is awesome. The Reason there is so many Doctor Who guests is because this the year and Jason bless him has done an Amazing Job of making sure the fans and the guests have an extraordinary time with those they admire. However it's a long shot to say that's all this is I mean he's pulling out all the stops Video Games, Cosplayers, All kinda fun for everyone and he'll always keep doing his best so everyone can have a great time. Just because Steven Segall won't be turning up to your birthday party anytime soon doesn't mean it won't be a smexy event. Oh defintely think it will be a great event regardless. It always is, And if Steven Seagal turned up i definitly wouldnt go lol (i dont like him) I agree everyone has a right for it and im sure if i was a dr who fan i would be peeing my pants right about now at this event which is amazing for them guys. Im just hoping there will be more different stuff going on too. This is my last comic con here so im looking to go out with a bang so to speak......Jason does a great Job at all the events, the LFCC was awesome!
  2. Have to agree with this, I hope there will be plenty of other guests other than those related to Doctor Who. I understand it is a hugely popular series but not everyone is interested in it, I am happy that people are getting to meet certain guests but to others, it means nothing. Please get a good mixture of other guests to attend and not just the odd one annoucened against five new Who guests. If it is bombarded with Who guests, then I don't think it will be worth the travel to meet just 2 or 3 guests. We will see what happens. I do agree also, its nice that they are getting so many, but too me dr who doesnt mean squat and it seems like these shows get bombarded with it all the time. I understand there will be 'other' guests also but it does seem like most of the guest announcements have something to do with dr who. At the moment im debating whether to come to this one as there is only 1 guest i am interested in at the moment.....Im not complaining, its a great even regardless, i just agree there should be a bit more variety too
  3. This is cool! I always make a point of popping over to say hi to him if im in the area. Good to see him here always, awesome artwork as alway.... :)
  4. I read that you had Joe Calzaghe last year! Oh my god, would there be any chance of getting him back this year please!!????? I would have loved to have met him but i had such a crap year last year dealing with things that i shouldnt have been that i couldnt have gone!! Im going to be moving away end of october, that would have been probably my only chance of ever seeing him. I am so gutted that i couldnt have met him, i didnt even know anything about it!!
  5. I hope so too, i left all my details with showmasters and gave them a description and everything so if anyone is looking for it then they should be able to contact me through them. Its nice to hear that things do get back though, some people are good enough to give things back rather than the finders keepers mentality
  6. info@showmastersonline.com I vaguely recall that for lost cameras in the US there actually is a website. "haveIfoundyourcamera" or something. I am trying to remember... maybe that would be worth having a look at if they have an UK section. Argh, I knew it looked off. I should just have wrote info@showmasters... or maybe looked it up. I have emailed showmasters with the details on that address and they said if anyone asks then they will contact me with it so showmasters know what the description of it is to be able to varify its the right person
  7. Thats not a bad idea, im just worried that if i post to many details and say too much of what it looks like and such, people might cash in on it and claim it. Will be a bit easy for anyone to say, "thats mine" If you post some pictures of the person if you can find any on there, but not the details of the camera, then they would still have to describe it which not anybody could do... Thats a good idea, i just put it up on a group for the LFCC on facebook. I will have to see what pics are on there that might be decent for it, i just feel a bit funny going through other peoples pics and posting them lol especially on a public area. but i guess its for a good cause right. I guess if the owners got there camera back they wouldnt really care how i went about doing it
  8. Thats not a bad idea, im just worried that if i post to many details and say too much of what it looks like and such, people might cash in on it and claim it. Will be a bit easy for anyone to say, "thats mine"
  9. Thanks! Any help will be useful, although i found it on sunday but still, you never know.....
  10. Showmasters replied to me and said they dont have anyone who has come looking for it or asked about it. I gave them the details of the camera too and quite an indepth description incase they took the details of someone who asked for it at the event but i guess not
  11. Thats good to know, i will keep the camera until the person calls for it and everyone has my details to call me if they come looking. Its a difficult senario in such a busy event like that. I just hope the people come forward for it and not just given up thinking its gone forever
  12. Me and my fiancee had this happen to us. We lost a tesco reusable bag which contained the food we had left and her coat which was a pinky orange colour. Apparently a security guard said it was handed in. When asking though noone knew where it was. Phoned again monday for the same response more or less. Possibly a case of lost property getting lost again. So I like the way pocketninja is going about it. issue with places like EC/OLY ect are there are many 3rd party contractors, for example securituy are at these venues, they may hand it into the orgs, the control room, the cloakroom, or they might not do anything and just leave it where ever they are working. if you spoke to the security guy, best thing would be to make him take you to the person he handed it to at the time. technically all lost property from a show should go to lost prop, with such a large building and so many different companies sometimes it takes a while for anything found to make its way to lost prop, thats why they should take your details even if they dont have your item in lost prop, just in case it turns up. especially so close to the show closing. I have always felt that with major events, its no ones fault and i know the staff do the best they do but i have always wondered with anything that i have handed, in has ever made it back to the owner. In most cases whoever i have handed stuff into, they have just put it behind a desk. I remember at the this show we found a bag of a box set of dvds and such, i handed it into security and they looked at me like "what do you want us to do with it" and pretty much hinted at us to take it, but we didnt. I wouldnt be suprised if some staff members take the stuff home for themselves if no one claims it by the end of the day I think it is always best to leave your details if you have lost something, you never know, someone might be on the search for you to return your missing things........like me
  13. These are mine! Was so awesome meeting these people whether it was fast or not, at least i had the opportunity and in some cases an opportunity that i might not ever see again. Me and Mr Lambert.......he looks serious but also seems very lovely The super cool Corey, peace signs all round And how can i pass up the legend himself Mr Christopher Lloyd Loved the day, thank you too all that organised it.....
  14. Ya thats the issue i am having, i dont want to post too much so someone cashes in and takes it away. Its like playing a game of "who am i?" hehe. Im sure if someone has lost it they will know its theres by the details i gave. I have only gave all the details to official people. I feel bad for them so i do hope they get in contact for it.
  15. Someone said on the post before that someone was at the organisers desk looking for a ******************** and looked quite upset? do you remember these people seeing as you was on the desk for sunday? Im just thinking it might have been them (edited to remove details so that someone else cant try and claim it from you)
