  1. Had such a wonderful Day on Saturday too! All the staff were really lovely, especially the lady on the info stand and the staff on the doors, also to TooTall for sorting out our passes and an extra special thanks to the crew who allowed my little boy to gate crash the end of Matt Smith's Q&A inside the Iconic Legion Dalek. We have been doing showmasters con's for a few years now but this one was the best ever xxx
  2. Here are our photos https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152134840105109.908463.895725108&type=3 It's a public album so everyone should be able to see it. Also looking for anyone who has photos from the Matt Smith Q&A session on Saturday afternoon, particularly when the Dalek came in as it was my 6yr old Dalek mad son inside it :)
  3. I love this idea! I can remember seeing this when it first came out at the cinema with my primary school class! (showing my age now ha!) I put this on just a couple of days ago for my two boys and they loved it! I would so love to meet Jodie Foster, I have been a fan of hers for many many years! This would be awesome!
  4. I use the system too as my son is Autistic and I am disabled and find queuing super difficult. We attend LFCC and EMS every year. Showmasters certainly make it easier for us and the cosplayers and staff are all wonderful. I think the sign is a great idea, you could even blow up a photo of your son on the sign so that he is kind of there. I know for sure that they will all be more than willing to do the photos as they are fantastic with my boys, have a great time and hope all the photos you get make him smile loads! xx I use this system and it definitely helps! Minimum issues with my son as a result. So I would suggest using it, aseefsid, so you don't miss out.
  5. It's the main hall at Olympia, rather than Earl's Court. Closest station is Kensington Olympia. Are there any pictures online of it? I'm better at judging directions etc if I can see where I'm meant to be haha! Holly you literally get off the train and come out of the station and the building is right in front of you, it's like the venue has a station all of it's own, don't worry you won't miss it! I prefer this venue, it is nicer and much easier and it is so much better than the venue for EMS last year :)
  6. Just wanted to follow up on this original post, Mr Staypuft was returned to us today all the way from conventioners in the Isle of Wight! I received a tweet in reply that they had found him and posted him back to my son who is one very happy ghostbuster! Not to mention photos of him geeking out and souvineers. LFCC'ers are completely awesome :)
  7. Hiya Anne, I have two photos of you in my album here -> http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151884425010109.868711.895725108&type=3
  8. lol Chris, that happened alot throughout the day, it made me smile I watched people's reaction to him and did double takes! It was even funnier on the train on the way home!
  9. My husband cosplayed as Monkey Mcfly over the weekend, a crossover of Planet of the Apes and Marty McFly from Back to the Future, loads of people took pics of him and he would love to find some of them! If anyone has any please either let me know here or Tweet him on twitter @MonkeyMcfly Thanks x
  10. Would love to see them there too!
  11. Hi everyone, here are our pics from Sunday, http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151884425010109.868711.895725108&type=1 Thankyou Firecracker for your comments, we had a fabulous weekend meeting so many wonderful people :)
  12. Hi everyone, Just thought I would link you to my album from today, had such a good day, met old friends from past con's and made a fair few new ones! Thanks to everyone who made our day special and please tag yourself if you are with us in our photo's! Back for more fun tomorrow x http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151881116670109.868312.895725108&type=1 The album is public so you can access the pics :)
  13. My 6 year old son cosplayed as a Ghostbuster today and brought his much loved Mr Staypuft cuddly toy which plays the ghostbuster theme. somehow he managed to escape us and although we searched around we had no luck so we are hoping it may have been handed in to one of the stall holders. My son is really worried about him so if anyone has found him please let me know, we are back at the venue tomorrow and could pick him up from the main desk and my son would be so relieved! Thanks Jassie x
  14. I would also love to see some Doctor Who guest's, I have put some pennies aside just in case some are announced, ever the optimist
  15. I would like to second that - Corey Feldman please :)
  16. Xyliana, It would be great to come along, we will have two little boys with us at the con, is the pub family friendly?
  17. I would also love to see him back this year, so please bring him back :)
  18. Our two little boys cosplayed last year as a Dalek and very mini darth vader! Their dad and I have promised we will join them this year too. We have ideas on what we want to do but now just got to start getting them together. Fingers crossed they come out well
  19. I would love to meet Robin Williams :)
  20. Ralph Macchio would be rather cool please :)
  21. I have to agree with Trialia on the chairs thing, Im also disabled and it kills me being stood up and walking constantly, even an area with a few seats clearly marked as fdor disabled would be a godsend, I would last so much longer if I had that. For LFCC I arranged prior the event for pretty much queue jumping but I found myself doing more running around with the special passes than just taking extra Painkillers and doing it! lol I even noticed one of the staff area doors being held open by a stack of chairs yesterday so it is possible! Anyway moving on I also found this venue a bit akward and odd compared to the venue for LFCC, it just seemed oddly laid out and hard work to get around and going up and down in the lift was just wierd! (although we did share a lift with an alien and my kids thought that was fab!) Although we had a great time, we have pretty much decided we will just stick to LFCC as a regular thing from now on and just hope they dont change the venue on us!
  22. EMS 01/10/11 Link above is for our photos at EMS, we had a fab time and meeting Arthur was fantastic! Also have two videos of the storm troopers and Jedi on the dance machines : Stormtroopers dancing Stormtrooper jedi dance Enjoy!
  23. Absolutely Thrilled at the David Tennant announcement, completely gutted that I have just ordered tickets for the entire family for the Saturday and he is there on the Sunday only! The worst part is Ive told my 5yr old son DT will be there, there will be tears before bedtime!
  24. Thankyou for looking into it, the family tickets just make it a little easier bring 2 or more children especially when paying for autos and photos for them too :)
  25. Hi after a superb time at LFCC we have decided to come along to EMS this year too! (Arthur Darvill swung it for us!) For LFCC we bought a family ticket but have just gone to book tickets and there doesnt seem to be that option for this one. Just the standard Adult and Child tickets with earlybird option. Do you not do a family ticket for EMS please? Thanks Jassie Had another look and if there isn't family tickets I was also looking at doing early bird this year but there isnt an early bird child ticket offered either! So could we have a family ticket with early bird option or the option for child early bird otherwise I will have to leave my little boys outside the place for two hours heehee! Jassie x
