  1. Hurrah - one supporter. I thought this idea would fly when you look at the cast and their credits.
  2. I think Peter Weller would be a great guest for 'RoboCop' and a whole host of reasons, including he's been cast in the next JJ Abrams 'Star Trek' movie. Any agree?
  3. I've met him a few times and I'm fairly certain he'd do it, especially after Thor. He'd be a great guest.

I think a really popular guest category would be directors. I remember Neil Marshall and George Romero at previous events, so why not more? I'd put Rob Zombie top of my list. Could also be TV show directors, not just movies. Any one agree and got suggestions?
  5. Anyone else fancy meeting some of the Sons of Anarchy cast? Not only is it a really great show in itself, but the great thing about most of the cast is that they've all got other credits that make them very desirable to meet. Ron Perlman would be great and not just for SOA, but Hellboy, etc. Katy Sagal would also please Futurama fans. Mark Boone Junior would please Batman Begins fans. Charlie Hunnam was also in sci fi classic Children of Men and Star Wars Episode 2. Maggie Siff was in the US version of Life on Mars. Kim Coates was in Resident Evil 3 and Silent Hill. And these are just the really obvious ones, so please Showmasters how about a SOA extravaganza? I'm sure you could talk to the people at Fox and link it to the Season 4 release, etc.
  6. I totally support this idea - directors would be great. Rob Zombie tops my list of possibly gettable.
  7. Prime time saturday effect
  8. Two things - 1. Thank you for a great show. 2. How about less actors and more directors? I don't mean the Ridley Scott's who I doubt would attend, but the Rob Zombie, John Carpenters, etc.
  9. I've been going to these events for a long time, even though I'm a relatively new poster. I think - 1. All photos taken at photo shoots should be either sent by mail or downloadable from a website. Collecting photos on the day is something US cons phased out a long time ago in my experience. 2. Guests who allow fans to take a quick photo are always going to be more popular, but it does hold queues up. However, I think a photo can mean as much if not more than a photo and SM should tell the guests this is how UK fans feel. 3. Bands and talks do not match.
  10. I thought the event was okay, but me and my mate left at about 5 and went for coffee round the corner and Jimmy Page came in! As a massive Led Zeppelin fan, this was better than the event ... and he signed an autograph and shook my hand.
  11. I'm not talking about the BTTF auction, but the general one. What day is it? Time, etc. Thanks
  12. What about a Sweeney reunion? I know John Thaw's sadly impossible, but Dennis Waterman and Garfield Morgan. I'd like to meet Kevin Whately and Lawrence Fox.
