I am coming with someone who has a standard ticket, I have gold. How does it work so we can stay together? When I get autographs is she allowed to stay with me or will she have to wait somewhere? I'm not sure if I'm explaining this very well but any help would be greatly appreciated

Well, here we are, Friday's here. I must say all I feel is apprehension and not the excitement I should be feeling. I hope that Massive Events do not use Park Inn for conventions again. If Park Inn think this is the last they've heard from me then they're VERY much mistaken. Safe journey everyone!

It was so easy staying in convention hotel. Can pop back to room whenever I want which was really nice. i hope I can enjoy the weekend and not have to ensure I'm not being charged for things I'm not supposed to be. This is certainly not the last they hear from me

The hotel issue has put a major downer on the weekend for me. I feel uncomfortable walking back and forth between the hotels especially in the dark. the convention's been held in the hotel so why didn't we get the priority? I am absolutely furious. I am now considering whether to do anymore conventions. I love coming so much but this has put a bad memory in my head which makes me wary to go again. I don't think the hotel could care less about us.

I will make sure I spend money in the Ibis and not Park Inn. I cannot believe it's happened, but there is nothing I can do so will enjoy it and hope everything else goes smoothly.

I don't blame Showmasters for the hotel problem, that's the hotel's mistake. I won't deny I'm not disappointed about Chris but Peter Williams is a fantastic guest and I have not met anyone else so will be interested to see what they are like. I look forward to making some more friends.

I am on my own this weekend. It makes me feel very uneasy having to go from one hotel to the other. I am attending the convention therefore should be staying in that hotel. I am really furious and being moved. I gave them my credit card details so why didn't they take the deposit? Terrible customer service.

I really am upset about this whole situation, first two main guests have cancelled and now not staying in the same hotel as the convention. The hotel do not seem to care how unprofessional they look by oversubscribing and do not consider that I am a single woman travelling on my own. for £176 silver ticket, £21 train fares and now £68 a night, I am very underwhelmed, angry and disappointed

I did the same as you. got up early to be at the front to make sure I got silver tickets. gold isn't worth the price. Going to make most of the weekend, not met any of these guests before.

I must say the Stargate villain theme has stumped me. No idea what to do. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
