  1. YES! Amazing addition! Always love an Alien guest. I know he was at EMS last year but would John Hurt be too much to ask for?
  2. Steven Moffat? Please? I think he's a pretty reasonable request! Any Firefly/BSG guests as well would be lovely.
  3. I feel really late with this but here is my list: The Silence of the Lambs Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Pan's Labyrinth Shaun of the Dead Serenity The Truman Show Snatch The Prestige A Clockwork Orange Leon Wow, that was officially the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Leaving off things like The Matrix, Sunshine, Zombieland, Terminator 2, Garden State, V for Vendetta, 500 Days of Summer (Shut up.) and Aliens actually hurt more than it should have done.
  4. Hello, great to meet you all! My name's Daniel but everyone calls me Dan as apparently I'm not worthy of a proper nickname. Please don't call me Danny and we'll get along fine. I'm 21 and I've been coming to the odd convention for the past ten years. I'm now looking to make them a regular thing and thought making myself a presence on the forums would be a good idea. Some things about me: I'm currently living at Uni in Cornwall, studying English and Creative Writing. I love to write and read, particularly Neil Gaiman, Jeff Lindsay, Edgar Allan Poe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (LOVE Sherlock Holmes), George Orwell and Stephen King. I love tea and cake more than anything. My favourite shows are Green Wing, Firefly, Doctor Who, Dexter, Firefly, House, Supernatural and Firefly. My favourite films are Pan's Labyrinth, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Silence of the Lambs, Shaun of the Dead and Serenity (That list could go on forever but I had to be a responsible adult and limit myself). I love sci-fi generally but dystopian survival horror is the way forwards. Zombies rule my world, basically. I have a love affair with Mumford & Sons. I don't cosplay but the thought entices me and people have told me that I look like Matt Smith (you can judge that for yourself as personally, I can't see it). My main ambition in life is to one day become Steven Moffat. The guest that I would like to meet the most is Nathan Fillion (and Steven Moffat). That's pretty much it. If you ever see me, come say hi! I look like this: Until then, you can find me on: Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/danisrocking DeviantART: http://danisrocking.deviantart.com/ Twitter: http://twitter.com/danisrocking PLEASE, come and say hello! I love meeting new people and you're all so beautiful! <3
  5. I've been going to shows for a few years now but I'm new to the forums and would very much like to get to know some of you! So please, come friend me and say hello! http://twitter.com/danisrocking http://www.facebook.com/danisrocking
  6. Does anyone else ever get that feeling after a show of really regretting those people you didn't meet? At the time, you think WHERE'S ALL MY MONEY GONE?! and then you get home and think DAMN. Food and rent aren't important! I should have spent it all! Yeah, I've got that really bad now. Anyway, I had literally one of the best days of my life on Sunday and here is the photographic proof. Look at the smiles!
  7. I'm twenty-one and it actually makes me incredibly happy to think I'll still be going to shows for at least the next twenty years. Age has nothing to do with it. For me personally, it's about holding on to this geeky part of myself as, more than anything, it's what defines me as a person. Honestly, I don't think the magic of being around so many like-minded people will ever wear off. Then again, I'm only twenty-one. Who knows what'll happen in the future? But it'll be a sad day if I ever decide I'm 'too old' to participate in something I really enjoy.
