only autos/photo's i'll be getting this year is stargate ones from chevron. Don;'t have the money for any other event this year at the mo.

Such sad news. iv been trying to get hold of him for months to ask him something and could't. Just found this link. RIP. he will be forever in my heart. Such a nice informative guy. Not sure where i'll get my supplies from now. Condolences to the family.

I'm most looking forward to meeting guests I'v never met before but I will REALLY miss meeting friends I only get to see at chevron and the parties. Nowhere I go ever knows the dance moves to all the songs unlike when i'm at chevron everyone gets up on the dance floor and knows all the moves and if you don't there's always someone to show you. I will miss the anticipation of whats coming up too. I'm sure there will be more than a few silent tears shed by the end of the weekend and I will DEFINITELY have to try an get contacts for as many people as possible so I can keep in touch with them and maybe meet up in the future.

SOOOOOOO sad. chevron is the highlight of my year and add in that collectormania MK is no longer up which is the nearest con to me it's really sad. Thanks for adding the cool stuff to the tickets as a send off. Shame things couldn't be moved to once every 2 years instead of canceling or maybe you could do one again in a few years time? I'm sure everyone will have sooooo much fun all the same. One good thing that might come out of it is more money saved for other things each year but still sooooo sad. thanks showmaster for all the fun times we have had. Hope you can still get us another 1 or 2 guests before the event and that you can still keep getting stargate guests for other events like comic con. Cant wait for chevron. Also such as shame its the last as my friend only just found out about the event after i had been last year and cant make it this year so will never get to experience it.

Unfortunate. would have been interesting if she had been able to show off her little treasure. But i wish her all the best and hope we can meet her in the future. Maby next year?

thinking of news any news on whether there will be any more hobbit events? they got canceled when the hobbit movie were being filmed as they needed the actors to be filming out in Newfoundland (i presume) , but now the movies are over and all the extras have been filmed is there any chance of there being another event?

Right I have been attending chevron for several years now. here's what its like. The convention starts on the Friday evening around 7:30 with an opening ceremony where they introduce all the guest attending the convention. there are usually between 4 & 6 guests. After the opening ceremony they have the gold drinks reception which is of course only for those who buy a gold ticket. the gold drinks reception is where people with a gold ticket stand in groups around tables and the guests attending the event slowly go round the tables and you get to have a bit of a chat with them. and as by the mane drinks are also served. After the gold drinks reception there is the Friday night party where there is also a disco and it is a chance for people to dance and interact with each other and if you are lucky some of the guests might attend, so for those with standard and silver tickets they might get the opportunity to have a chat and dance with any guests that attend the party. Saturday morning starts with autographs and photo shoots on the morning. everyone will get a letter corresponding to the type of ticket the get and what number their ticket is. this will be on your badge you get when you collect your ticket at the registration desk on either the Friday or for those attending on the sat on sat morning. you will get a time table in your welcome pack telling you what time everything is happening and when each letter is called for each guests photo/autograph. so as long as you refer to the time table you get you should be able to get 1/2 your photo's/autos on the sat morning. then int he afternoon there are usually talks and events such as the quiz or the auction going on or sometimes guests might have something special planned. then again there is another party on the Saturday night. Sunday starts pretty much the same as Saturday morning getting the remainder of your photos/autographs. then again talks and other events on in the afternoon. throughout the event there are also private guest encounters which you can bid for or try an win with a raffle ticket. these guest encounters are for small group of usually around 10 people and vary in price from guest to guest. The times these encounters happen will again be on the timetable. on the Sunday evening there is a closing ceremony as many people have to leave on the Sunday evening but for those staying at the hotel Sunday night there is 1 final party.. The themes for the parties will be announced on the forum. Hope this information helps everyone.

well we can all cross out fingers. they usually have manage to get 4 and 6 guests and we are still over 5 months away so we may yet get another 1 or 2 guests especially as we usually get at-least 1 guest cancellation closer to the time so I'm sure they are still looking for people to attend. Don't worry anyone.

you only have to click on the items you want to get rid of you don't have to click and erase everything. plus several sites remember your password and you can just click login like this site. also you can pick and choose what level of deletion it does.

that seems strange you couldnt book it over the phone. i wrand ang told them the dates, event etc and got the convention rate when i wrang. might be who picks up the phone. i have had to ask to speak to someone else over the phone before.

think if they got Jonathone Young id squeal with excitement for the rest of the day. Tesla is my fave character in sanctuary and he is good in atlantis too.

I like the sound of that idea. SM could include a rough t-shirt template in the packs and people could draw designs on them and hand them in. then at the end of the weekend a winner could be chosen. could prove fun. think they need to give real thought to this idea.

I sure hope nothing happens to CM-MK. it is not too far away from where i live and free netry means it is a realy good event and i always bring fans along with me. I hope CM MK lasts for many years. I don't mind that if there are more sports stars than film/tv stars. keeps the ours strings from bursting. I think if they realy were to cancle CM MK they would tell everyone on the forum.
