  1. If a guest is free go up and talk to them, even if you don't want (or have money for) an autograph. Most are happy to talk and you never know, you might even be able to get a free photo with them!
  2. I know what you mean. It was my first con and I've never seen a bigger gathering of like-minded people - it was brilliant. People seemed so friendly there too. I STILL have the post-con blues and I absolutely cannot wait for next year. I might even have to come to the event in October, if they announce some guests that I am interested in.
  3. Do you think he will be busy tomorrow? I want to ask him a BSG question. Are there people who tell you to move along because you've already had enough time, or what?
  4. This makes me happy. Although I have nothing for him to autograph - I assume they sell photos at the autograph table for people to sign?
  5. On the website it says he's there on both the Saturday and the Sunday, yet on the timetable it only says he is doing photoshoots on the Sunday. This therefore means that he will not be doing a photoshoot on the Saturday - but will he still be there for autographs? I'm only going on the Saturday but I would like to meet him; I'm going to be so disappointed if he's Sunday-only.
  6. At the photoshoots is it literally '"Hello" -photo is taken- "Bye"' or will I have time to ask the guests a question/have a very quick chat with them? I'm also a little nervous of losing the ability of speech when I meet them, it being my first con and all. Any tips to stop my brain from melting when I meet the guests?
  7. That makes sense now. For some reason I just couldn't imagine how a hugging pose would work.
  8. How do hugging poses work? For some reason, I can't imagine it in my head. Anyone got any examples? (It's my very first con. I'm excited about meeting people, yet nervous because I think that my brain is going to melt and I won't be able to talk properly).
  9. Does that mean less time is spent queuing for the guests? Is it worth spending an extra £6 to get in early?
  10. Apart from the times (obviously) what is the difference between standard and early entry? I mean, is there anything special that goes on between 9-11? Do you just get the early entry if you want to spend more time there?
  11. Well thank-you everyone, you've all been really helpful. I'm rather excited now, even though it's quite far away.
  12. In terms of meeting people without buying an autograph/photoshoot... it would be Sean Maher and Joel Gretsch (who my friend wants to meet) and maybe a couple of other people. I do realise that Lloyd would be one of the bigger stars there and it would be extremely unlikely to get to meet him otherwise, hence why we are getting a photoshoot.
  13. Right, I've never been to a con before and hopefully I will be going to this one this year with my friend. I have a question: One question about photoshoots: I assume it's the actual photos we are paying for, and not the photoshoots? So there is no way of dividing the price between me and my friend (as we'll both want a photo)? Thanks! EDIT: I think I've answered my own question. Another question: is it possible to meet people without having to get an autograph or photoshoot? Yet another: do the photoshoot/autograph tickets run out (we're hoping to get a Christopher Lloyd photo)? What I'm trying to say is, will there be any left in one week's time? It's just that it's taking ages to organise what we want to do because my friend rarely comes on Facebook. Seeing as I've never been to a con before I don't know popular it all is...
