  1. OK, just step away from the vidspam. It's giving me Ideas.
  2. I'm now up-to-date with Season 2. This show, it is Teh Crack. I just booked my hotel room for next year, having bought my Gold Pass the week before. The receptionist has my details on file from previous conventions and said, "But you were booked to be here last weekend!" That was for (the unfortunately cancelled) Abrams Inc. *sniff* But I think this one is going to be even better...
  3. Eric is one cool awesome enigmatic dude, I'll give you that. Yeah, let's have him.
  4. Giddy? Dang straight. Bought the S1 DVD on the strength of one ep, watched pretty much the entire season in one day, am now up to ep 7 of S2, am BOOKED FOR THIS CON CAN'T WAIT.
  5. Awesome! Doubt I can get away with the leather/PVC look these days, but I'm sure I can come up with something...
  6. OMG I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to give anything away. Oh god. How do i fix it without completely deleting it. Oh god i feel bad. i hope i didn't ruin it for anybody. i didn't know sorry. I'm all messed up since i have no idea where you guys are with this in England and me being in the states. please no one hate me Don't worry, I'm sure most people on here have *ahem* found a way to see S1 already, but just for the minority who haven't, just use the Edit function (see the button at the bottom of your post). Cheers!
  7. Charlie Aome, the post you made just before this one contains a big spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen the whole of S1 - you might want to amend it. I would have been mightily peeved if I'd seen it before I got the DVD this weekend...
  8. I voted for Stephen Moyer, Nelsan Ellis and Alexander Skarsgård. But I wish I could pick more!
  9. Having watched most of S1 in a single day, I'm hooked. And booked. Roll on August next year!
  10. I got S1 on DVD on Friday evening and by Saturday evening I'd seen all of it. ARGH it was awesome.
  11. I've adored him ever since V. I first met him during his previous LFCC appearance and I'm afraid I turned into a quivering pile of goo even though he was being so nice and trying to talk to me and everything. ARGH. This time I was actually able to talk to him, which was utterly brilliant. (And get a photoshoot.) So glad I tried again! He's a great guy.
  12. How come this thread isn't at the top? Shaaaaaame! Now why am I here again? Oh, yes. May we please have a Supernatural con? Ta ever so.
  13. I've just ordered S1 on the strength of one episode. If the rest is as good, I may well sign up for this con.
  14. I think I'm hooked on one episode. I just ordered the S1 Region 1 DVD. Can't believe Stephen Moyer's a Brit. OK, to be honest, I wasn't really concentrating on the accent.
  15. Got a nice Scott Bakula Enterprise head-shot photo and a large photo of Michael Ironside combining appearances in Terminator: Salvation, Top Gun and Starship Troopers. I'd bought them in case I wasn't keen on any of the pre-selected photos available with the autographs, but didn't need to use them for autos in the end. Was tempted to buy more weaponry but resisted.
  16. Yep, I think it's a fair system too.
  17. I was only there for Sunday and it was great. I met Scott Bakula for the first time (and he was lovely) and managed to actually speak to Michael Ironside without turning to goo this time, which was wonderful. Managed to get a photo with Jimmy Jean Louis too, although after he broke for lunch, I never saw him back at his desk so couldn't get his autograph, but never mind. The time seemed to fly by and I was impressed by the amount of stuff put on to keep people interested, not to mention all the brilliant cosplay people wandering about. I actually ended up taking a friend (a con newbie) on a few days' notice and she enjoyed it too. And of course it was great to see crew members and attendees I'd met from previous conventions again, even if just for a moment. Quite possibly my favourite LFCC experience yet. That's Malcolm. I used to be a bit nervous of him, but he's a nice guy if you talk to him outside of the photoshoots. He has to take a great many photos in a very short time so he does whatever's necessary to keep things moving, including being "a beast" (his words (!), although if there aren't loads of photos to get through in the timeframe it's a lot more relaxed), and the results are usually well worth it. He took three shots of me with Scott Bakula to get the photo just right and I was very happy with the result, even if I am grinning maniacally like a Cheshire cat.
  18. I am too. I always crash something rotten after conventions and signing events. It's such an exhilarating experience meeting my favourite actors!
  19. Found him very friendly both during the photo shoot and when I got his autograph and he was happy to personalize. Great to meet him at last - I've been a fan since Quantum Leap.
  20. This was quite possibly my favourite LFCC yet. Loads to see, loads to do, great guests and I think I've converted my friend to the joy of conventions and signing events as well...!
