I've said it before and I'll keep saying it until they make it better, I had no specific problems with my image I didn't look older or fatter but the flash really showed how thin my hair is getting. I have no problems with the photographer from LFCC he did his job and he looked knackered for what he had done (poor guy) some of the images were poorly cropped, people wernt central and the lighting showed everyone except the perfectly tanned guests as bleached. Its not the worst thing in the world but come on SM It could/should be so much better as time goes on they should be using better equipment, not worse.

This is the best FAQ for an event I've ever seen, tells me everything i need to know, although in the photograph section point 2 was that the best lighting would be used. this is was was used in the past but what is being used now is far from having the right lighting for the best possible image.

For those of us going tomorrow can any of today's attendees quote the auto prices, personally I'm after knowing the Heroes guys prices so that I can plan my budget. but any prices will be good info for people to plan their day.

Well, I wont be buying any photo sessions this time then, why have they changed the studio lighting was so much better! Is it to cut costs or is there actually a valid reason why they aren't unsing the good stuff??

I was just wondering what the CM12 photo sessions were like, as LFCC busted me this year I can only go for one day to CM12 and before I go I want to know if the Photo Sessions were like they were at LFCC with the plain blue background and a camera top flash or if they had gone back to the studio lighting they used to use?

New Facebook Group. Hi guys, Just a message to everyone who joined the facebook event after I said I had a load of pics and videos on there. Well as it turns out events disappear after the event happens so there go all the shared photos. I have now created a group instead, Groups are for people with common interests (in this case the Heroes World Tour) I have uploaded a load of pics again and some videos too. please join and share any that you guys have Heroes World Tour - London Oh and if you see yourself in a pic please tag it.

Hi guys Just a message for any facebook users out there (I know there are a few of you). A couple of weeks ago all the events disappeared from my facebook profile which is a bit naff because there were loads of pphotos posted on there. As it turns out Facebook automatically deletes events about a month after the event (not sure why) so other than the events page being a kind of place holder, they are kinda pointless for photo sharing. I know many of you uploaded loads of your photos to your facebook pages so you could share them all so I have no created a "Group" for people who went to LFCC 07. London Film and Comic Convention 2007 (LFCC 07) I have put a load of my pics back on there and there are some cool videos too. If you use facebook please join and share your pics, videos too. At least this time they wont all get deleted. Oh and if you see yourself in a pic please tag it.

Yes I am aware of this, I was the guy who started this topic and posted the link to that event so that people did not go creating their own events all over the place. I have created a "group" not an "event" since starting this topic it has come to my attention (due to the heroes world tour event) that if you create an event. it will disappear from your facebook profile approximately 1 month after the event happens. Just because facebook closes it down. Don't stop using the event page that Susan Cannon has made and im not trying to take any kind of priority. before the event happens, Susan's page is great for the discussions and wall posts she is putting on there. It has over 45 members now which is really good. The group however will be eternal and wont disappear so that would be a better place to go after the event happens to share photos. if you do this on the Events page it will just disappear and the whole sharing thing would have been pointless. What I am suggesting is that if you use facebook for photo sharing as I do then use both pages. If youre not interested in getting loads of photos and videos together after the event and just want the event marker, just use Susan Cannon's event page located here

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that I have created a Group for Eclipse as aposed to an event. Eclipse (Facebook) The reason for this is because any pictures people post after the event will disappear 1 month after the event ends so post photos I want to clear up that I don't want to step on anyone toes if you don't want to join you don't have to but if you are planning on using facebook to share photos after the event then the group would be a better place.

HEROES UNMASKED I'm sure it was called Heroes Unmasked (the sow that's on after Heroes), the camera crew were there taking pictures of us all. does anyone when this will be on TV. I'm at work when the episodes air but really want to see thius show in case we are on it. don't have the option to record it either so if anyone can post if they get a copy of the show that would be great

Well that's me decided, Saturday it is. + the other half is at work so i can have some freedom this time. (I was only allowed to buy one sword at the LFCC!) who needs a savings account.

I don't want it increased either but if its so popular that they sell out in half the time between now and the event would they increase the number of tickets to get more money. Sorry I mean "give more people the opportunity to go". can they increase the amount or is 800 the venues max?

I don't mean to do this, Sometimes I even say that it sounds like I'm telling people when i really don't mean to, Sorry If i have come across this way I have started trying to proof read my posts more just to see how Im coming across. after last night i got my Girlfriend to start proof reading them too just to help them come across better. So it actually has a border round the print? so It would be part of the print and not part of the BG, If that is the case it sounds awful and totally distracting (plain boarders sometimes help to frame an image and draw the eye) not when a company uses it to advertise that's just arrogant. It not what i was getting at with my example though. can you show the image as an example? I would understand if you don't want to. Its not just photography Its everything. I allways come across like im complaining about things and that's not what I feel I am doing. The photoshoot background is ok but my problem with it is that its just OK. I want everything to be the best it can be and i feel this can be better with a different background (more artistic) but sometimes i get carried away and need people to understand what i mean which leads me to go on and on until they do understand/agree or just get annoyed and angry with me. Sorry If it is going to be plain, I agree that my personal favourite would be black as it makes the colour really stand out. But again at these events most people wear black and I would love to see some of these floating head shots that people have referenced. What about white, gray or a slightly more neutral blue (lighter)?

What days are you planning on attending? I don't want to miss you this time. In fact have a word with showmasters and see if they will put you on the front page as an attending guest.
