Showmasters have held loads of standalone star wars events in the past and there is usually a good sw presence at all their shows (esb theme at next years lfcc)

When I purchased his signature he added 'voice of Akbar' and 'voice of bib fortuna' to the relevant pictures

Do we have a name for this person yet? Less than a week to go til the show.

Surely if you had seen them at a SM event before then they wouldn't be first time signers at this event?? Also, why even comment about not understanding what the hype is if you have no problem with it? Theres lots of guests that I have no interest in ever meeting but I wouldn't waste my time by commenting on it. Commenting that you dont like such and such a guest just comes across as selfish as there will be plenty of others who are interested in them!

Not convinced with this statement as the picture he signs was from the pick up shots in America and was one of Rick Bakers masks that was never in the UK. I believe he was in the cantina but not as the character he signs as.

the best advice is to keep a track of what you paid for them. Keep an eye on the showmasters forums to see if fees for any return guests are going up or periodically you can do a search for completed ebay sales to see what they are selling for and adjust value accordingly if needed. As long as, if the worst happened, you got back the value you spent then you're not out of pocket.

If theres a guest announcement i'm not interested in I dont even go in the thread - just because its of no interest to me doesn't mean its not of interest to others.

He's def not done any shows before. Hadnt heard of any ttm successes from him.

I understand why names are kept hidden when they are first time signers but they should be revealed around a week before the event so that people can get whatever they need ready to be signed (in the case of them having multiple roles or in other series etc). A week prior doesn't give anyone any time to usurp sm from being first!

They are listed in the Stormtrooper reunion thread - they've just been updating that instead of starting a new thread for each signer. Easy for folk to be missed that way unfortunately!

Peter Allen has also sneaked onto the list. He was also a rebel and played Geezum in Jabbas Palace. Hopefully his wife will attend too as I need them both on a few new bits

Theres loads of people you could add as jabba - Toby Philpott was the left hand of jabba. Mike Edmonds worked his tail, John coppinger sculpted him, Dave Barclay was his right hand and mouth, Mike Osborne did the breathing, John Coppinger sculpted him etc etc. I'd also do this for your own pleasure, not as an investment as there will be little to no return in a few years on a dvd or blu-ray box.

Only true for the Milton KIeynes Collectormanias - you have to buy tickets for Glasgow (maybe they should change the Glasgow name to GFCC going forward)

Booking the stormtroopers for this show wouldn't stop them booking Hamill if he was available
