Sounds like you had a great time! I'm really looking forward to going to the exhibition, but at the moment every minute of every day seems to be taken up with a small event that we are running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were lucky enought to hang out with Richard Taylor and Sala out in San Diego, and watching Sala being made up as an Uruk Hai was fantastic. Only when you actually see it done do you realise how much time and skill goes into just the smallest part of the movie. The costumes were also amazing. We saw an Elf and a Gondorian soldier up close, and you just don't realise how many different layers there are to those things. The attention to detail is fantastic, and as you say, everything is made to be real, and how it really would be, and not just what they could get away with. When Tolkien originally created Middle Earth and The Lord of the Rings, the actual stories were only a small part of the whole thing. He created this whole back-story that most people were never aware of, but it was that dedication that gave the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings their deep texture. Weta and Peter Jackson have done the same with the films, going so much further than they perhaps needed to, but ultimately their love and dedication to the films shows through and is part of what has made them such a huge success. I must say that I really am looking forward to going to the Exhibition, and once our ' little show ' is over, I am sure that I will be hot footing it down to London! Mark

Hi, I need to know the exact quote that Dobby makes in Chamber of Secrets for a little project I'm working on, but I don't have the DVD around to check it. It's the one that goes something like "Master has given me clothes..." or any line similar to that (maybe when Dobby is explaining to Harry that he has to be given something to be set free). Yes, there us actually a listing for C5 and C6 on the main website. C5 is Friday April 30th to Bank Holiday Monday May 3rd 2004. C6 is currently Friday 1st October to Sunday 3rd October 2004. Mark

I think Steve Irwin is WELL cool!!! I think he'd make a great guest for a future Collectormania, but a certain other Showmasters doesn't agree. He needs a little persuading, so if someone was to start a ' begging thread ' over in guest suggestions, ot even here in General Chat, or even in both, that would not hurt at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both Premier Lodges are very nice, internally they are pretty much the same. The one at Furzton is closer to the Center, it is right next to Milton Keynes Bowl and a lot of my friends have stayed there for gigs. The one at Caldecotte is a bit farther away but is probably more picturesque. If you have your own car, then I would go there as it will be quieter and more pleasant to look at. If you are on foot/public transport, then definitely go with Furzton. It's a bit more of a walk than someone estimated, more like 20-25 mins to Middleton Hall, (unless you are an athlete) Kenny
