As far as I've seen not every US con does that, I've seen some where people are standing very close but not touching, and one recent UK small event had the guest and attendee distanced on a bench with a flower arrangement in view between them - sounds odd but for a non mask/non screen distanced shoot it worked and looked good. So I don't think there's really a standard to go by, but I can't argue it'd be a surprise if there's screens.

How about removing everyone off the website until they are reconfirmed? I think that’s what is annoying many people, the uncertainty on some guests.

Technically it could still be correct depending on when the ticket was purchased as I think changes in terms of a contract cannot be imposed without both parties agreeing to the change - the customer needs to be officially informed that terms are changing and if they don't agree to the new terms their tickets need to be refunded. This is why Google/Facebook/Ebay ect are always emailing about changes and you are deemed to have accepted if you continue to use the service. As we weren't informed about the changes in the terms, I guess anyone who has a ticket that predates the new T&C's would have a good arguement .....

I'm even considering buying the Nightmare on Elm street 4K movie just for Robert to sign...

Lets be honest most US stars will probably not attend events overseas due to covid so why not support our own actors within the UK.
