Queueing indoors is a luxury and not something you should expect. As we say in Norway "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing".4 points

Given Clark’s announcement, some more MCU guests would be awesome (some more likely than others )! I went to the post office last week and they made me queue up outside. I asked them why, and they gave me some cockamamie story about being there 3 hours before they actually opened. Shocking.3 points

Also Dr Cute. He's also canon.3 points

As the show is now coming to an end how about some of the cast of Hawaii Five-O? Scott Caan, Jorge Garcia, Grace Park, Daniel Dae Kim & Alex O'Loughlin would all be pretty cool2 points

After what we have seen from Chibnall so far I personally think he bit off way more than he can chew. I would have been skeptical had Davies or Moff tried. But Chibnall… I hope for the show's sake I am wrong.2 points

I think this is what is known in marathon terms as "hitting the wall". But the finish line is in site.2 points

Just wanna say well done to Jason and all the guys at showmasters another fantastic con completed. I am already looking forward to the next one and planning my guests though I was wondering what's going on with Collectomania MK as not seen any announcements for it.1 point

Gah, lucky! I’m determined to get Chris Evans and Tom Holland one day after stupidly missing them by being either a day too early or too late when the two of them were in Edinburgh.1 point

Final thought. Personally think The Timeless Child could of worked better (and been less controversial) if it was revealed to be The Master rather than The Doctor.1 point

I was worried that I wouldn't get a low enough VQ ticket to get his autograph, as I knew I wouldn't be getting to the event until around 11am on the Saturday. I was staggered that there was no queue whatsoever and I just walked straight up and got the autograph. A pleasant enough experience, but he wasn't the most chatty and engaging of the guests. Priced at £30 which was one of the more expensive, but not unreasonable for a New Series Who regular. I must have walked past his desk around a dozen times over the course of the next six hours and the situation was unchanged everytime I looked. Every other New Series Who regular that I have met at previous Showmaster events have been Diamond / lengthy VQ ticket queues. On the positive side his Photo shoot queue was a least a decent length.1 point

To be honest I should have been done with it ages ago, but I've been really bad with it, and watching series 12 instead, so it's taken me far longer than it should have. Looking back, I watched An Unearthly Child on August 8th, 2018, so it'll have taken me nearly two years to do it. That is kind of scary to think about.1 point

If I’m honest, I’m actually surprised at how poor Tosin and Mandip’s performances have been. I remember the two of them being in Hollyoaks a few years ago and they weren’t bad actors. Of course, a trashy soap opera (which I only still tune into as a guilty pleasure because of how long I’ve watched it, honest! ) is perhaps a bad comparison to make but I do remember Mandip’s character in particular having some very dark storylines and she did a good job at portraying them. Tosin’s character was more of a comic relief sort but he gave a pretty good performance during one of his last scenes. From what I personally know of these two, in my opinion think the writing has failed them both tremendously. That, and having to act out bad material with a put-on Yorkshire accent. I’m not sure about Mandip but I know Tosin is from an area within London so I don’t understand why Chibnall chose Yorkshire of all places for this era when surely it would’ve been easier and probably more beneficial to the cast to stick with London as the companions’ home city.1 point

I watched it live and have now processed what I witnessed and I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I did like the episode, it was gutsy I agree, some things that happened I’m not sure about still, one thing in particular, but overall I think it was a good finale and I think Sacha Dhawan’s performance as the Master was incredible!1 point

Well that's me done. I am now on my way back North (well outside the M25 which counts as the same thing). This was the first time I decided to stay in London. It made it so much easier. That was just an awesome weekend courtesy of Showmasters. Bit wet and cold waiting to get in on Saturday but once in let the fun begin. All of the guests I met were lovely. I really wouldn't want to single one out for a special mention. The crew in charge of the busier guests were helpful and friendly. Had great fun with the photos. The crew in both A and B were excellent. Attended three good talks - Samantha Bond, Doctor Who and Horror. They were all good fun. Got to have a chat with a couple of forum members @Chris1970 and @maegurwen. Hi guys. Apologies to anyone I saw but didn't recognise. Thank you Showmasters for another fabulous experience. See you in July.1 point
