  1. 61 is no age. She has been sick long. I saw them live three times '86, '95 and the last time in 2015. Marie was singing sitting on a chair. They had to help her to walk on and off the stage. The voice was not as strong as it used to be but what can you expect. But the glow was there. Her last tour.. Per Gessle said this to a newspaper here: (Translated the best I could): "Time goes by so fast. It feels like just recently when Marie and I sat in my little apartment in Halmstad and shared dreams. And what a fantastic dream we got to share! Thank you Marie, thank you for EVERYTHING. You were a truly unique musician, a singer on a level we will hardly ever experience again. You painted my black and white songs with the most beautiful colors. You were a wonderful friend for over forty years. I am proud, honored and happy to have shared so much of your time, your talent, your warmth, generosity and humor. All my love for you and your family. Things will never be the same.”

  6. I most certainly did not spend the day watching it on repeat blubbering away like a little girl. No sir, not me! I really liked it. It hit the right tone for me. We were told this one would be a bit more serious and dark than previous versions and I like that they're doing that. The trailer was well put together in that it gave you the feel of the movie, without giving too much of the story away (which makes a change for Sony!). There were plenty of nods back to the first movie which really did hit me in the feels and affected me more than I thought it would. Most of my Ghostbusters fan friends loved it too but I have heard a few people complaining (as they do with every movie). Some are asking why it's not the original GB team? We were told it wasn't. As much as we love them, watching a bunch of Grandads on their Zimmer frames busting ghosts won't carry a movie! Some say it's too much like Stranger Things? Well, Finn Wolfhard is in it, so I see that connection, but to be fair, Ghostbusters is one of the franchises that influenced ST, so of course they will seem similar!! I can't wait for it to come out so we can see what the film actually is, as trailers have been known to give the wrong impression of films from time to time, but everything I've seen about this one feels like it's a good direction to be heading and will hopefully give the franchise new legs to continue forward for a while yet. Unlike that other... thing. What did other people think?

  8. I am so sorry - my thoughts went completely off there. Remember English is not my native language, so on rare occasions stuff gets lost on me. I sincerely thought you meant the Teletubby. But I am speaking to the Bear, so of course not the Teletubby. So correction: Yes, I am male.

  13. Was talking about it earlier with one of the guys from Ghostbusters Ireland, been good friends with him for years, and he's said the same positive things. It's hitting the right beats, down to the music used, the references, the name of the mine in the trailer, and he's looking forward to it. Only watched it the once earlier (I'm sorry!) and it seemed to have a slightly different feel, but I'll have to watch it once or twice more (and maybe more after that. lol) to get a better feel for it.

  14. I enjoyed the trailer, always been a fan of the original. I can see why people are talking about the Stranger Things aspect, but Ghostbusters came first and is better so I don’t know why people are moaning

  15. Oxygen - There really isn't anything to dislike about this episode. Jamie Mathieson is one of my favourite NuWho writers and this story demonstrates why. The pacing is spot on. The humour works well in the overall context of the story. The three leads are excellent. They really work well together. Agree the support characters lack depth and the anti-capitalist message is not very subtle. But it's an interesting concept to have oxygen as a commodity. The setting has a claustrophobic feel to it. The zombies add a creepy edge. Definitely one of the best (and certainly unexpected) cliffhangers. Interestingly this was not part of Mathieson's writing but added by Moffat. It's nice to see The Doctor dealing with a physical disability in the next couple of episodes. I enjoy this twist so much I try to ignore my thoughts that a bit of regeneration energy would cure his blindness. Overall 9/10

  19. Jon Bernthal (Though he's got a crappy auto and signed the wrong character name on my Defenders poster. Sigh) Lee Pace who also has a terrible autograph, though at least it's a name and not just initials and he was happy to add the correct characters And Dean O'Gorman

  20. You know Christmas is coming when you have a triple bill of Raymond Briggs to look forward to. Father Christmas, The Snowman then The Snowman and The Snowdog. Follow that with Arthur Christmas. Perfect antidote to last night's festivities.
