Years ago Disney had similar figurines called Vinylmation. Most sold in blind boxes. The husband of a friend of mine was a big collector. Rarely got any chasers or the even more rare variants. I bought a box in Paris because it was one of their "purchase with purchase" offers and I thought if I don't like it I can give it to him for trading. Bam - chaser. The year after in the US a friend working for Disney took us to a Cast Member Store where they had Marvel Vinylmation that were Pretty much sold out everywhere. I grabbed one just for fun, opened it in the hotel. Was left very confused. Sent my friend a Picture: "Umm… why does my Green Goblin look like Jonah Jameson?" I had grabbed a variant and didn't even know what it was. Poor husband apparently almost died upon seeing the Picture until I assured him he could have it.

Completely irrational personal guess: Maybe that "legend" Jason mentioned - the one the summer date didn't work out for in the end - is only available at the Spring date? Of Course then it makes more than sense to announce them immediately. We've had the regional Show attendees complaining that their local Events are being overlooked in favor of LFCC since day 1, but this is a whole new Level Right now.

I get that, but it's one guest announcement and the way people are reacting, on Facebook as well, it's as if this one Spring announcement means they have abandoned all other events and no other guests will be announced at all. They have always announced guests for different events in the run up to a specific show, and this is no different.

I’m super excited because it is highly likely that I will be able to go to LFCC next year or the winter and spring events if I can as well because I talked to my parents about it the other day that I was gutted I hadn’t gone this year and that I really wanted to go again because it is the best con I’ve ever been to! Also I might be able to persuade them even more to go if this forum photoshoot is going to happen as well!

Morning All Sorry for the late reply to this but sheffield threw up some wifi issues that kept me off line all weekend. @Bas That is 100% wrong the holographic label never goes on the front. I can only guess that the label was loose on the table. Was it labelled on the reverse? @everyone else We have placed the holographic label on the reverse for about 3 years. We never add it to the front. We guarantee all items signed with us are guaranteed to pass a 3rd party authenticity company such as Beckett. As I have posted else where I am in front of the computer all day today catching up on emails, updating the shop and making sure no refunds have been missed. If you waiting on a reply please email me. I'm working from home today just doing PC work. All sheffield pre orders were packed earlier and will ship tomorrow.
