  1. As you will see a number of the big guests have two photo shoots, an AM and a PM shoot. We have tried to give an estimate of which batches will be called in the AM shoot. "Likely" = There is a good 70-95% chance of joining the AM shoot. You should definitely go along. "Possible" = There is a 40-70% chance of joining the AM shoot. You should look at going along but don't expect to get in. This is only an estimate, there is no way of knowing for sure. If you are 2 or 3 batches outside the AM estimate it might be worth checking 10 minutes from the end of the shoot if you can come through. All other batches will be called in the PM shoot. If you have a major clash with a paid talk please talk to the crew who will do their best to get you through the AM shoot. Diamond Pass Guests: Diamond pass holders will be called in first, this will be in batch order (the passes will have batch numbers on them). Then Gold Pass holders will be called. Gold Pass Holders: If there are more than 50 of you we will have to look at calling you in ticket batch order, you will still go in before the standard pass holders, just in batch order within the gold pass holders. As usual, those called in the AM shoot can still join the PM shoot if they can't make it. FRIDAY: SATURDAY: SUNDAY:

  3. I am literally just adding Sunday's talk times to my sheet now so will be updated to the site shortly Edit: all done now, available here! Reiterating that this is an *unofficial* site to assist in scheduling, and relies on me copying down all the times correctly, so you should always double check with the latest schedules once you have the list!

  13. One thing you can both do, when you have gotten inside and have your bearings and any VQ's you may need if you want auto's from other guests, is to take a moment to have a wander around the venue looking for quieter bits. Now space and quite can be hard to come by but there's always somewhere as there's usually a bit of the balcony where there may be less stalls/people or an odd corner. If you note where they are you know where to pop back to if you need some space. Or find out which way the exit is and pop outside (remembering to get your hand stamped so you can get back in). I do recall they said they intended to use part of the entry hall as a chill out area after everyone has gone in so you can try there as well.

  15. It's still happening as far as we are aware, but it is using your own camera for the pic and not a professional shoot (so not in one of the prop shoot areas), which is probably why it's not on the schedule.

  16. Maybe it was scheduled for Sunday only, and since Zachary cancelled Sunday it's not happening anymore? Just checked the draft schedule and seems like that is correct.

  18. My partner uses paint pens for her Pops as they are easy to colour coordinate. Melissandre is a Sharpie pen and The Night King is Posca. They work very well on the plastic of Pops and dry fairly quickly. We usually only need 5-10 minutes to be certain it's OK to put back in the bag. They don't work so well on the card of the Pop so it depends on where you want the signature. Apologies for the photobucket watermark. I’m in the process of changing photo storage provider.

  21. I can't see the image on here, but it works as a link to take me to the image. I have studied it long and hard to see if I think she would have any issues signing it. Still not sure, might have another little look.

  22. One thing to know is that you are not alone feeling like you are so don't worry about asking questions on here or seeking help when there. Im autistic and this will be my first comic con and I feel terrified of the thought of being in a new place surrounded by people and having to get to numerous places in time but my desire to meet Tom Ellis has got me taking the step and despite being massively nervous, Im actually really excited Theres loads of info in the threads on this board to help you prepare, Ive spent ages reading as much as I could and asking questions when not sure. The people on here have been so helpful and supportive Hope you have a great time at LFCC

  31. My top guest experiences include: Jeffrey Dean Morgan- During my photo with him I asked if me and my cousin could kneel down in front of him while he stood behind me with Lucille. I couldn't get the words out but when I finally did he was more than happy to do it. Kiefer Sutherland- Was very friendly and took the time to talk to everyone. I even brought a copy of his latest CD for my mum's present and he signed it for her and wrote Happy Birthday on it. Ross Marquand- Gave everyone he met a welcome and a goodbye hug, and spent ages with everyone. I talked to him a lot about Red Skull and what it was like taking over from Hugo Weaving. Zachary Levi- So full of energy and asked about where I was from and how long I had traveled for. Spoke a bit about what is Shazam joined the Justice League. Michael Madsen- Very friendly and spoke about what it was like on the set of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. He showed me is jacket from the set which had the logo on it, and told me about how he broke his leg on set. He joked he was doing one of his own stunts. David Harbour- Was an absolute pleasure to meet. Very friendly and was telling me how people would love Season 3 of Stranger Things, and how shocking it was. Caity Lotz- Very friendly and agreed to do a back to back spy pose with me, with us both pretending our hands were guns. Warwick Davis- The first celebrity I met a long time ago when he did conventions. More than happy to sign anything and have a chat with everyone.

  32. Great list Chris1970, I just want to add to your story about Tom Wilson, when I met him I asked him to call me a butthead and he happily obliged and said instantly, “Get lost butthead, make like a tree and get outta here” amazing guy, well worth meeting if anyone ever gets the chance

  33. WIll keep it short but sweet..I know that if you keep me writing.. lists like these will go on forever.. Kevin Guthrie: Very funny guy who told me this and that about future Fantastic Beasts. Could talk for ages with him. Lisanne Falk: Very cool and calm person. We went down memory lane and talked all things 80's. She won a big heart that day. Tala Ashe: We talked about how people always get names wrong and othere things. So very sweet!! A pure and bright highlight! Jack Gleeson: We talked Sweden, he has been here a number of times for the nature. I gave him a few ideas on where to go. Great guy!! Could have talked longer. Alicia Vikander: (non-SM) I dont meet too many from my own country and that makes it feel strange to talk in swedish at situations like these, her and Mads only ones so far. Georgia Hirst: (non-SM) Funny and love to talk. Told me all kinds of fun things from "Vikings". I hope SM will get her to one of its events one day because she is a pure delight. Kevin Sussman: (non-SM) Always a thrill to meet someone from Big Bang Theory. And I have to admit one of my favourites in the show. Very cool guy and fun. Mark Williams: Two favouries shows in one. Harry Potter and Father Brown, not often it happens (Geneiveve Gaunt will be next this year). Mark is a legend! Love to meet again. Tom Wilson: Biff Tannen!! Really do not need to say more. And he is a great artist as well. I got him to knock my head and say "hello!" Such a great guy. Katheryn Winnick: (non-SM) A total delight! Lagertha in "Vikings" is very high up on my chart of favourite meetings ever, even though it was short and sweet a memory forever, love to meet her again.

  36. Well I have two quite rare ones: Fall of Rome Prequel Platinum Foil Edition (Limited to 850 copies) Fall of Rome #1 Gold Foil Edition (Limited to 500 copies) Then I have a couple of the more recent BOOM mini-series, Daniel Jackson and Vala Maldoran. Obvious question that raises is, do I get an issue of the series named after Daniel Jackson signed or one of the more rare comics which do have his face on the cover, but only as one of the team and not the main player?

  41. I don't think anyone will beat Richard Dean Anderson for me <3 photo op first, I think he could tell I was nervous cause as he put his arm round me for the photo he told me I was doing okay. Photo's taken, I thank him and tell him it's amazing getting to meet him, cue a huge smile on his face and telling me "bless you you are lovely". Few hours later I queue for auto, he recognises me from earlier and we're doing some small talk about London when he pauses and asks "so, how old *are* you, if you don't mind my asking" so I tell him, but with a confused whyyyyy? and he says it's just cause he thought I looked very young. So I joke "oh well in that case thank you very much, now I love you even more" which he bursts out laughing at then innocently waves his hands saying "I swear that's not why I said that!!" Cue some banter while he signs my Stargate magazine, I thank him again then move to the side while I wait for my mum to get her auto. They talk for a minute or so then she tells me to come back over which I didn't cause I didn't want to crowd her time, but then he gestures for me to come over so I'm not gonna say no to him more banter, some lovely compliments, and then when we're leaving I look back to say Bye and he waves me a goodbye kiss so I wave one back and somehow I didn't faint lol. Next day for final photo, he recognises me again, throws open his arms with a "hello again my love!" and I get a big squeezy hug for my pic and I will honestly always be grateful for how amazingly lovely he was. Dream encounter with a dream guest <3 Sorry for the waffle, just one of my favourite experiences ever! :)
