Thanks Jason - it's a great event that brings a lot of people together to get ridiculously excited over things many wouldn't understand. And very exciting about potentially three legendary guests - it's already a really great line up so far. I enjoy the suspense, even when it turns out to be someone I'm not interested in, as it is still fun and there are always plenty of guests for me to choose from. So I will look forward to seeing who these guests might be if it is signed off. Not long to go now until LFCC, so hopefully we'll hear soon

Not too excited about this, deal could still go south. Since everyone is asking for Marvel guests in the suggestion post then people will only be disappointed if it's not one of them. Legendary is different for everyone but I don't think a hype post is necessary if there aren't any contracts signed.

I only have 5 photo shoots and a talks far so there is plenty of room for more. If a miracle happens and Mark Hamill and/or some big Marvel guests are announced you can have ALL my money

The changes within the venue also sound pretty cool. Nice to see Showmasters continually trying to improve.

I really hope for Emilia Clarke and Sarah Michelle Gellar but on the other hand I’m already meeting 10 so I don’t know if I can handle anymore

I have booked all my must meet guests/photos already but holding back bit of my budget in case theres another last minute (david tennant) type situation like last year lol. Was gutted i couldnt get a dp for him last year so wanting to avoid similar situation.

Would love David Tennant to come back, as he was only there one day last year so couldn't afford him... Also Harrison Ford or Mark Hamill would be amazing too!

Good point, we all have our own idea's of who's 'legendary' and we can't be all right so it's worth taking a reality pill (even though I'm hopefully really excited!)

Full transparency & communication from an event organiser... imagine if they were all like that! Appreciate all your hard work every year Jason & team, this event tops any others I have been to through the 10 years+ I have been going to these events. Don't know how the weather has been for everyone else today but it was pretty glorious here - with it finally starting to feel a bit like summer I'm starting to get excited for lfcc!!

I've never seen stalls with out of box ones at any Showmasters event (or at least no more than 1 or 2 on a stall), but you could try the London Pop Market event.

I love Platoon and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Apparently he was cast in Platoon after his brother Emilio Estevez turned it down thinking he was too old to play Chris. And he stayed up all night to get the drugged-up look in Ferris Bueller. And two of his most least favourite films he ever made were The Wraith and The Rookie...he said in interview (early 90s) basically any film he did starting with "The" was dogs***. I always loved the scene in Hot Shots Part Deux where he and his dad pass each other on the boat doing their voice-overs from Platoon/Apocalypse Now and then referencing Wall Street

It was never up. Sometimes talk of Diamond Pass Guests get announced close to the show only. Diamond Pass gets priority for those talks and they want a closer idea which number of tickets they can sell.

Got my tickets for Toy Story 4 This is the film event of the year for me (as much as I have loved all the others I have seen).

Getting closer. Have now managed to get the Friday off work and have changed to 3 day entry Plan to use Friday mainly for autographs. That will make Saturday and Sunday easier.

Had a very nice 90’s movie evening and night. Time to call it a day (night). Started with Dante’s Peak, Twister and finished with Falling Down. As a note I would like to point out that I really like the soundtrack to Twister.

Tom Ellis's talk isn't showing up to buy separately at the moment...I'm most likely getting the Diamond Pass anyway, but just thought I'd let you know.
