  1. I don't quite know why I left this until now to add this to the forum. I was amazed at the effort that went into this years cosplayers. I have loved seeing what people do each year at these events and this year was just mind blowing. I saw so many children that looked incredible. To name a few I spotted a kid that had created his own Spiderman Homecoming costume that Peter Parker created himself in the movie. To see the attention to detail that this kid had but into his costume made my day. Also to note there was a cosplay event happening on a stage that I spotted whilst walking by. Every child that came out in costume walked out nervously and got standing ovations and then walked off stage with their heads held high and full of what can only be explained as pure happiness, like they were experiencing the greatest moment of their lives as of yet. All the other cosplayers, young and old were there to support them too and it just touched my heart in a way that I needed to express my appreciation for everyone involved. I really want to get all my friends going in cosplay next year so we can do the same thing and make the little kids that come along feel awesome about themselves. All of you were true heroes and I just feel that you all deserve a shout out. Thank you for giving not just the kids but myself the greatest memory of LFCC 2017.

  3. My first ever LFCC and I got to meet Alyson... was so thrilled and I didn't expect her to be as lovely as she was. I'm definitely glad I asked for a hug too!

  4. This lady is far too far down the conversation thread for my liking. She was an absolute delight to meet, had a great chat with her in the autograph queue where we shared our mutual love of owning cats (though I have two, she has THIRTEEN!!!). Later in her photoshoot she still remembered me from earlier. When she checked with the photographer whether she should stand or crouch next to my wheelchair I cheekily said "how about sprawled across my table?". She laughed and replied "yeah let's go for it" and sat on the side of my table (effectively met my suggestion halfway!). Really hoping the online photo shows more that what was in the print, but this at least should show what happened if you look closely enough! A lovely, lovely lady. Please get her to come back again.

  15. My guesses as to who may show for next year are some of the following: Mark Hamill, will always never not suggest Mark Jon Bernthal Peter Dinklage Sophie Turner Jason Momoa Mike Colter to make up for his cancellation. Possibly with another Defender in tow? Tom Hardy? Tom Hiddleston maybe?

  16. There must be a bug in the system as I'm not really Wrong Name. I am a new female person on the forum and just wanted to say hi to everyone and that I love comic con. I am in no way writing this to ensnare anyone.

  17. Hello, I'm Lisa, twentysomething and Dutch. I've met a fair few people from the forum at the LFCC Geek-off, but I finally decided to stop lurking and actually join the forum so I can join the convo here *woohoo*. From September on I'll be living in the Netherlands, but will still visit a fair few events in the UK over the year. I cosplay various characters from various fandoms such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Disney and Marvel & DC. - Lisa

  19. He was so wonderful, seemed really happy to be there, talking at great length with everyone, really engaged and interested <3 At autos I told him I'd gotten into the show because my sister left to do her military basic training and told me to record every episode for her on vhs (we joked a lot then at how old we all are lol). He asked a lot of questions about her service in the USAF and said to tell her Thank you which was said in a very heartfelt way and thought that was really sweet of him. We were chatting for a good few minutes (and was so nice and even complimentary at one point) when he signed my dvds 'you can be my lois anytime' haha I laugh but, really, *swoon* He was equally lovely during photo ops, I asked for the pose in my icon pic here which he must get asked to do countless times but he excitedly agreed to it anyway ("love it, let's do it!"). Seriously, what a sweetheart and I really hope he'll be attending again!

  20. I was checked Friday and Saturday but not Sunday. Mind you I did give Benedict a whack to quieten him down so my giant holdall wasn't wiggling any more when I sidled nonchalantly through.

  23. Love that BTTF print! I started a Harry Potter and a Fantastic Beasts poster, also added to my Game of Thrones, Hobbit and Lord of the Rings(no picture) posters. I also got a few 8x10's signed for other people. I'm a sucker for signed posters Some of the posters are still partly rolled as I didn't want to crumple any of the ends/corners and the Hobbit poster looks real dark as it's a foil poster so pictures don't come out properly unless is specific light. So happy I managed to add BC onto the Hobbit poster and start the Harry Potter poster with John Cleese! Thanking you SM

  24. Hi, my name is Mitchell and I'm an alcoholic.....Whoops sorry. Wrong forum!! Let's try that again shall we "Cough Cough". Hi my name is Mitchell, I am 29 years young from London England and I am a proud father of 2 boys and 2 girls. I have been coming to LFCC since 2015 and I drive my kids insane with all my hype and energy when anyone as much as mentions anything comic related, video game related, movie related or television related. Also to add to this comment, I am the nephew to the one you all call the Camel. But don't say I told you so, he gets the hump about it.

  28. Yep back to the real world. Did anyone see the daily mail columnist who wrote about LFCC and what a bunch of 'saddos' we are? She comes from this real world I speak of so she's one of the biggest saddos of all as well as a bore. I need to find comic con land again! Hopefully Bournemouth at the end of the month.

  30. I believe I overheard that whilst I was at photo E. He was right! My favourite moment was actually a sequence of events: Meeting Dean Cain in the autograph queue and getting him to sign a letter I'd received from Chris Reeve whilst I was in hospital (I had the same injury) Meeting Benedict Cumberbatch for all of a few seconds, but seeing his reaction to my surname when I mentioned it on my way out (and the reaction on Twitter since has been hilarious) Tricia Helfer both in the autograph when I chatted with her, and what followed in the photo shoot at the end of Saturday Whilst #3 was going on, being name dropped by Dean Cain during his free talk on the main stage (about our interaction in #1), been feeling chuffed ever since! Fab value for my money.

  32. I was surprised that I got in sunday (missed the chance friday/saturday) even his time was limited for a few hours per day. I always have wanted to meet him since I've watched in the 90's "Beverly Hills 90210" and of course "Lois & Clark". Been a bit afraid how he will be in Person (arrogant, tired, reserved or whatever) but surprise: he was incredible nice. He wasnt yet there at his table. Then he arrived (he did Looks a bit busy/rushed) smiled and said "hi" to the People who''ve waited. He always had a smile on his face while signing and talking to the People. I of course had a DVD cover with me of Lois & Clark. He's thankfull to have played this role and playing with all those wonderful guest stars and with Teri of course. Myself I haven't seen yet the second of "Supergirl" but read that Teri is in now. Dean: "oh yes.. it was wonderful to see her again and we are in the same Episode but... well you've to see!". I asked: and what about Brenda Walsh? Dean: "oh yes... Brenda... this was an amazing time. Such wonderful to have worked in this. This was before Lois and Clark. Only that ending of the Story-line for "Rick" was a bit worse". Yes.. definitive. Im still wondering what happened to Brenda when she left "Beverly Hills"... possible met Rick again? Who know, who know :-D Well, I like your acting/work. He thanked, shoke the Hand... and smiled. this was another great Meeting... even myself I'm always a bit stressed/nervous with my terrible english language Well done Showmaster. Thanks!!

  33. I agree with andyfilm_1. Usually I would put mine away in a hard case for better protection but the sleeves were very handy when I was in a rush for another shoot/talk etc. As using them meant I could just throw them in my poster case as I... walked at a slightly faster pace than normal, to whatever was next. Then I added them to the hard case when I had time.

  41. Wasn't on my list of urgent must meet guests but when I did meet him on Saturday he was brilliant and I will definitely make a point of seeing him again if he comes back. I can be quite shy sometimes and it was great that he made the effort to spark a conversation and even made an effort to speak to my mum who was just hanging around to the side.

  43. For someone as busy as he was, he took a few minutes with everyone either in the photoshoot or getting his autograph. He was very thankful of me taping off the section of the comic to get signed. I bought the diamond pass for him and was so happy to get to meet him. A Marvel guest was what I wanted and I couldn't have been happier to meet him!

  44. Blooming Brilliant. We wanted to see loads of talks but we had to sacrifice some and a couple of photo shoots because we had so much to do. This one is going to be a bit different because it's smaller and in the hotel but the others were brilliant. I loved that they had the screen used sets and I still can't believe I have pictures of me, on the genuine Sherlock set, with the genuine Sherlock props with Benedict Cumberbatch. I don't think anything will ever top that. Well, one with Benedict and Martin would but that may be very wishful thinking! I love that they get the behind the scenes people, Arwel and Claire are lovely and what they do has as much influence on the success of the show as the writing and the actors, just in a subtler way. I think The Pink Lady swooned at the chance to meet David Arnold and Michael Price as much as we did for Benedict. We had Danny Hargreaves and the special effects team at the first and they put on displays and demonstrations. I loved attending them and am very thankful that i did go.
