I'm sorry you feel that way. People tend to quote someone when they have a forum conversation with them, I dont think anyone is being picked on Absolutely. No-one's being picked on. People just reply to different points that are raised Of course everyone's upset and angry, but sometimes things are said that are a little unreasonable, so others generally want to try and reason with them and calm things down. It can't be nice for an organiser to sit here and read people saying they'll never come to another one of their cons etc. I agree with the last point you make totally!! But sometimes people commenting on someones negative views can also be taken other ways too!! I don't want to dwell on it I was just making my point that from reading this thread some people feel they can't voice the more negative of opinions without a backlash so enough said on the issue and hopefully all faith will be restored for everyone concerned that ME can and will pull off an amazing event!!!

That was the first post I posted on this topic and I just disagree with the way some people are made to feel just because someone else has a different view. I just hope ME can come up trumps and all of the negative energy will be forgotten and replaced with utter happiness at someone amazing stepping in as a replacement !!!

I agree everyone has the right to their own opinion!!! So if people voice that they feel upset and angry why do people feel the need to go on and comment one person in particular!!! I feel let down because you purchase your ticket for a reason (guests that are attending) yes we are always told that work commitments come first but three in a row is devasting!!! If they were being replaced with guests of the same calibra it was soften the blow (but at such short notice it may not be achieved). Well done ME for trying to find a replacement however I think people should stop turning on others when it is not directly aimed at them and just voicing an opinion!!

I agree!!! I haven't met him as I didn't go to the proms. But i understand for those of you who have. X

I really hope they get a great replacement.... maybe we will, the budget of two guests combining and getting a good one as at short notice we would be happy with one replacement (good) rather than trying to meet the hype set of more guests. I know its not Sm/ME fault but you also have to see it from people who buy the tickets view they're not cheap and most people buy them for whose been announced or the speculation of who is going to be. We shall still be going provis]ding peter and alex is going otherwise i don't believe the rest to me are worth spending travel , hotel etc etc on when they only appear for all of 3 seconds.

I think why most people feel upset is this is the second cancellation in 2 weeks...... but SM I have faith in you to pull something (or someone ) out of the bag. The line up for me only really consisted of peter , Alex , cameron , booboo and jodelle so two down out of that is abit of a disappointment but hopefully something better will come out of it we never know. Fingers crossed!!!!

Was looking forward to meeting her on the basis because if they make the short life of bree tanner into a film??? She might well become main cast. Other than that not too bothered but would love xavier as a replacement.

I was collecting the photocards topps uk version ( as they are what I have signed) Now with neca cards it is such a squeeze to fit a autograph on but oh well damn it lol!! Well if hmv have them guess where i'm going. There are NO photocard sized version avaiable internet or otherwise relating to this collection I wish there were!! I have some twilight & newmoon cards if anyone wants to swap any just let me know.

Hmv ??? I've checked online and they are not on there and they have withdrawed the new moon topps version aswell now. What store was it ???

I collected both sets of the topps uk twilight and new moon and now they have lost the rights to the eclipse set!! They never finish a complete apparently. I have had to start collecting the eclipse NECA version which are tiny in comparison to the photocards. I haven't found any shops that stock them as they are the US version only online and they are 99p a card or you can buy a full set from america or aust. which almost defeats the object Lol!! I live right next to milton keynes where topps are based and my mother in law knows someone who works there and I used to get the new moon ones straight from there as they were so slow at distrubting them to the stockists. And they have confirmed they will not be doing a photocard set. Hope this helps
