  1. Can someone PLEASE tell me why, especially in recent years, the signers have been getting, theres no other word for it,WORSE!!!!! Yes,i understand that our turnouts arent as big as say Milton Keynes (which i have flown down for before!) but if the quality of the guests dont improve, how can people expect the attendence numbers to rise. I know we've had Freddy Kruger,Wiston Sedmore,& a couple of good Buffy signers but come on guys, even when the Ashes To Ashes people were appearing at every autograph/memorabilia show we didnt get a sniff!!!!! The quality of the signers HAS to improve or i can see the show being scrubbed altogether & a lot more travelling involved for us Scots!!!!!
  2. No offence meant here but Kenny Bakers done various signings in glasgow over the last 10 years (5 that i can definately remember being at).Why cant we get geusts that have never been here before.Amber Benson & Robert Picardo have both done sessions in Glasgow before .Is it too mauch ti ask for fresh signers eg someone from ashes to ashes etc???????????? *Edit* Can't name other signing events on the forum.
  3. Right where do i start............ Anyone from..... Supernatural Smallville Only Fools and Horses (Mickey Pierce or Denzil) as we've had the others previously Star Wars apart from Kenny Baker & Dave Prowse as i think everybody in Glasgow has met them. Ghostbusters-Great to meet Winston in the Summer lets get Egon over now. Life On Mars/Ashes To Ashes-Previous guests down south, lets have them up here. Dr Who-Great signings this time-well done Jason-now all we need is Terry Molloy-PLEEEEESE. Justin & Alan from the Sunday night project. Some BIG stars would be nice as whenever you tell someone about the event, the first thing that they judge it on is the calibre of the stars in attendance,i know Angelina Jolie is probably busy that weekend but at least ask her (lol) See you all there I'll be the one with the 7 year old boy whos crying because "the Ewok" has let him down again. (but it will be great to meet Nick Courtney_a DR Who legend Best wishes Phil
  4. So the Ewok pulls out again.Having JUST managed to pacify my 7 year old son after Warwick dropping out last time he goes and does it again!!!!!!!!!!!!What is it this time????Shuttle strike on Endor!!!!!!!!!!!!Gringotts bank held up & him taken hostage?????????????? I guess i'm just meant to have a s*** Xmas
  5. Hi Guys First-time poster so be easy with me.Me & my 2 sons went to Collectormania today and as usual thoroughly enjoyed it.I've enjoyed reading all your posts recently on the run up to this weekend and with the insult throwing aside,i've on the whole agreed with most of the postings. Its always annoying when a guest that you've planned around cancels (especially at the last minute).Personally i was looking forward to meeting Dirk Benedict and my youngest son Greg whos only 8 wanted to meet "the Ewok" (Warwick Davis) so that took a bit of explaining!!!!!!!!And whilst i agree that the signers maybe weren't as strong as say the Milton Keynes event which i've flown down to before, meeting Ernie Hudson,Nick Brendon & William Hope was great and we'll certainly be there in December (especially as Nick Courtney is going to be there (unless HE cancels LOL ) I recenlty spoke to Jason via e-mail and said i hoped that he'd manage to get some Life On Mars stars to this show, but now with December to come, hopefully he'll be able to get that sorted. On the whole another GREAT event, well done Jason, As Kate Bush sang "December Will Be Magic Again" Speak soon Phil
