So I'm a moron for making a few reasonable comments regarding the nature of the guests attending the show am I? I think you need to go look in the mirror.

What a caring bunch Showmasters are. Shows what they really care about is the money and not people's opinions. Best get your replies in quick. This message will be locked or be deleted in 30 seconds..........

Exactly my point - try to have a discussion with the Showmasters and they lock the thread or delete the posts. Time to send my opinions of their attitude and a copy of their comments to a publication I think, maybe one running their adverts.

How come David is allowed to get away with blue murder while anyone giving the slightest piece of criticism has their posts deleted or are banned from the forum, answer me that.

I deleted your post because you started it with a direct insult and inappropriate language. You are welcome to make any point you wish to, but please try to do so in a reasoned and constructive way. K So you couldn't have just deleted the alleged insult part and left the rest?

Typical can't take the criticism so you delete it. Maybe I'm making my voice heard in the wrong place, maybe I should take my comments to a film magazine or collectors magazine where the editors won't delete my perfectly reasonable comments because they don't like what is being said.

If Andy and Sala are part of the family they don't HAVE to come on EVERY family outing do they? Look at it from my point of view for once instead of the blinkered view you are all so fond of taking. People WILL see this as 'Oh look the same old guests, AGAIN' I've heard it from my mates so much since the announcements on Saturday that it's becoming a joke in the same way that people see Michael Sheard attending a convention (You only have to look in SFX magazine to see that this is a running joke with them, and soon Andy Surkis and Sala will be joining those ranks of the over exposed) Give them a show or so's break then bring them back and it won't be so bad. I'm already betting these guys have booked dates for C5, C6, C7 and C8...am I wrong? As for first UK appearances, yes you may have a few others, but I bet there will be more LOTR names added to that list first won't there? And why won't you comment on my suggestion of having a seperate LOTR event for those fans only? By the way, Tom Cruise isn't gonna be calling you guys anytime soon so please don't wait by the phone.

Exactly. I have those feelings too. If you read my comments properly you would see that I don't begrudge the LOTR fans their guests of choice, but I would rather Showmasters hold an occassional LOTR guests ONLY Collectormania that would satisfy those fans and leave those of us who are not to have a better variety of guests at other Collectormania's. BTW Mark, when I said that LOTR guests were monopolising the shows I meant by you bringing the same guests back show after show. By seeing Andy Surkis and Sala Baker appear again that means two places taken up that could maybe have been filled with fresh original guests. So what if it's popular at the minute? Keep bringing these guests along and they will become similar to the same familiar old faces that people see attending the Star Wars conventions week after week. What I'm particularly annoyed about is that these guests are attending their 3rd show on the trot, why don't you give them a show break in between? What's the matter are you afraid of losing their interest? I think that I have offered what is a fair solution to this problem that would keep everyone happy, so please people don't lambast me. As for my choice of guests? What does it matter who I want it'll only be shot down by those LOTR fans anyway so why mention anyone at all? Personally I would just be happy to see a fresh line up altogether. Collectormania used to be exciting and fresh now it's all gone a bit stale and mouldy.

My last post just disappeared. So I'll repost. Can you please just hold a seperate LOTR event for those fans and leave Collectormania and LFCC for new and more exciting guests? I was so disappointed to see that both of the Showmasters shows are being monopolised by LOTR actors yet again for the third time running. Please answer this instead of deleting it, or we'll all know that you ignore paying guests just to satisfy yourselves.

Didn't bother, the first one was utter crap and the second I saw part of on video didnt look much better.
