SM have only had a HANDFUL of SG guests at ALL of the Cons (actually I count about 8 IF you include people who have only been in ONE ep :D) but if you ONLY count main cast we've only had 1 or 2! with only ONE from SG1! Rowan Posted June 15, 2004 Share Posted June 15, 2004 I think all the main cast are at things this year (with the exception of Rick of course). I'd rather see folks who aren't going to be over otherwise. Two I'd really like to see are Jr Bourne (Martouf) and Peter Williams (Apothis). They are both really fan-freindly and great to talk to, and have some very loyal fans who'd love to see them. Jr was due to be over for a convention but it just got cancelled. I have friends who are mad fans of his who haven't seen him for about 2 years now. In spite of not being that 'big' in terms of onscreen appearances, he's very popular at the events he does do. He's often as big a draw at a convention as the main cast. He does a lot for charity. Quite often auctions dinners with himself and stuff like that to raise money. I wouldn't be surprised if he does get bigger too. He's been in starring roles in a lot of small independant films, and they and him have won a few awards at film festivals. He's the loveliest person to talk to and basicaly up for anything when it comes to interacting with the fans. Peter was meant to be doing a convention recently, but had to cancel as they expanded his part in the Catwoman movie they are filming. He's also Ann McCaffrey's choice to play F'lar if Dragonriders ever gets made. Again really easy to talk to and really cares about his fans. He always remembers both my online and offline names, and we usually chat about folks on his message board. As far as I know he's not booked at ANY events this year! Jr was going to do it while he was over for the con which has now cancelled. Both dinners are now off.
