Ive met Pat Roach at Arkham Collector's RDV (Paris, 2003) and LFACC, a great guy, I would like to meet him again Ive seen Maud Adams in Paris too in 2002 I think (Arkham CRDV). I have heard of autographs-ink, but I am always a little concerned if I don't get them in person. I value the photos as much as the autos. I have got one or two of my list via the artists agents, but still like to see them signing my photo or card if possible.
Guest Dr jones
yer its always good to see actor/actress sign the item infront of you and in person. What i would love is some company like showmasters or anyone run just a james bond convention with loads of james bond guests, just james bond and all james bond dealers there, it'd be well fun! GoldenGreen
Well, who knows ! Perhaps we may get a Bond reunion of some sort in the future. I guess it is difficult to do as there are so many people that have appeared in Bond movies over the years. Do you collect other Bond stuff as well as autos ? I have quite a bit of other stuff , the films , most of the books, various film magazines with Bond specials or supplements. I also have a Bond Board game from the 1960's which I got on Ebay. I saw Duran Duran recently at Wembley, mainly just to hear them play "A View to a Kill" as much as anything but enjoyed the show. I have tried to steer away from collecting props (have been tempted a few times) but there is only so much space. Do you think Papillon Soo Soo would ever do a signing event like Collectormania ? Guest Dr jones
cheers. Yer i reckon she would do a convention if she got offered one. I got an email from someone from VH1 who saw my website and asked for info as they wanted to get her to appear on a show.
GoldenGreen
Dr jones Posted on May 28 2004, 04:13 PM cheers. Yer i reckon she would do a convention if she got offered one. I got an email from someone from VH1 who saw my website and asked for info as they wanted to get her to appear on a show. You should get a credit as a researcher for tracking her down. Do you know what show it was they wanted her to appear on ? I will have to keep an eye out on the VH1 schedules. Maybe you should pass her details on to Mark and see if they can contact her for C6. Now here is a thought, Grace Jones, Alison Doody and Papillon Soo Soo for C6.
Guest Dr jones
Yer i think i'm already gonna be put on the credits cause the lady was like "Thanks sooo much for your help, i'll put you on the credits as a special thankyou, if i can get away with it". So i might be on the credits! I think VH1 are doing shows on songs from the 90's or something like that and as Papillon did the famous "me so horny, me love you long time" lines in Full metal jacket, they got put into a song by 2live crew. VH1 want to ask her to be on the show to talk about her input into the song. When i know if it goes ahead or not i'll let you no.
GoldenGreen
Sounds good. I haven't watched Full Metal Jacket in years. You may have just encouraged me to get hold of a copy. I don't remember the song, when did it come out ? I suppose they just sampled her line, rather than her actually doing it again for the song. Guest Dr jones
The song was by a group called 2 live crew i think they got banned are there lyrics were so explicit lol. the song was 2 live crew - me so horny and yer it was quite explicit. Your can hear a small sample of it on my website. Yer they just took the bit from the movie and put it in she didnt do it just for the song. GoldenGreen
I'm kind of guessing she wouldn't really want to be linked to that song then by the sounds of things. If they do get to interview her on the show should be interesting. Let me know if you find out when it will be aired.

I was just wondering where you all got christopher lee's auto? also, where have you got some of the addresses that write to the bond stars from? Thanks -Aron Hi Aron Glad to see another Bond fan. I don't know about the others but Christopher Lee has done signings at various book / cinema stores in London over the last few years, which is where I met Mr Lee and got his auto. Most of the other people I have met and got the autos in person at various James Bond events round the country. Some of the others I have got whilst the actors were in the West End, for example Jonathan Pryce when he was in Me and My Girl. If you want addresses more generally, you can normally find contacts for most people via the web, there used to be a site called Matts Celebrity Hangout I think which was pretty good for addresses. I haven't used it for a year or so , but if it is still there it was pretty good. I prefer to meet the celebs in person though so I know it is genuine and try and get a photo with them as well.
