Ok, this probably sounds really stupid but my sister is putting together a CD with loads of sad songs on it, its an MP3 CD so we're hoping to get loads and loads on it.  We've got quite a few so far but we need more.  Have you guys got any suggestions?  Anything at all....

Cheers me' dears.

Random quotes, from random people....
"I've had Pavarotti, I think...  It's pasta isn't it?"
-----------------------------------------------------------
Random quotes from my random sister...
"Miranda Otto...  I thought that was one of The Three Tenors..?"
"Yeah, Amy's wanting to borrow: 'Tenors on aria'."
"I love prison films.  Make you want to go to prison don't they?"
Talking about a photograph of a kitten squashed into a pint glass: "That's a bit tight init?  How did it get in there?"
"I dreamt that Michael Parkinson was a zombie last night."
"F***!  Spielberg's just seen me naked!"
In an Italian restaurant, Kate picks up the menu and says: "I can't read this, it's all in French."
"...S'ept for I put Nicoletta in the dustbin and she turned into roast chicken...  Frying, cooking in the wheely bin...  all juicey."
"Yeah, like U2...  Bo-Bo, whatever he's called."
"Can you see us at the next antiques roadshow?...  'Oh yes £1000 and a £1000 more-  for being so beautiful.'"
"STUFF THE RIGHT SHIFT!  I JUST DON'T WANNA GO BACK TO SHKURKA!"
(The next two are extracts from Kate's diary)
"I forgot to tell you that yesterday we watched "The Living Daylights...  It was so boring, I started humming to myself and I didn't even notice."
"It's five minutes to seven AM and I can't sleep.  I feel gutted because it's so early.  I can't stop thinking about jigsaws."
"Come and put your hands on my head, like that guy...  Roy Chubby Brown... no... what's he called?  Edward Scissor hands... no... Derren Brown!"
"...the only reason why I'd look at him twice is because he's so f***ing ugly... and there's one for your signature."
"This dog well looks like William H. Macy"
"And when we go to LFCC all your forum mates will say: 'Oh look, it's that girl that's right la la and funny!' and I'm just gonna say F*** OFF!"

Some of these aren't 'sad' as such, but give off that kind of feeling...

Infidelity - Skunk Anansie

Crestfallen - The Smashing Pumpkins

Winter - Tori Amos (and that really is powerful)

Something - The Beatles

Adagio for Strings - composed by Barber

Erm...I'll think of more eventually!  :lol:
Cult film/tv, horror, sci-fi, 80's, Lost, Carnivale, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, LOTR...

My immortal - Evanescence
Especially for you - The Beautiful South (VERY good)
Get Here - The Beautiful South
Hero - enrique
Honest questions - daniel bedingfield
Dont wanna miss a thing - aerosmith
Torn - natalie imbruglia
you are not alone - MJ

Ok so probably none of them are kinda SAD but they are sort of sad in the way that the lyrics are about sad things   :blush:

For crying out loud - Meat Loaf (always makes me cry anyway)  :D
"Not idlly do the leaves of Lorien fall."

"When winter comes, and singing ends; when darkness falls at last;
When broken is the barren bough, and light and labour past;
I'll look for thee, and wait for thee, until we meet again;
Together we will take the road beneath the bitter rain!
Together we will take the road that leads into the West,
And far away will find a land where both our hearts may rest."
