ABOUT FRAZER IRVING:

AFTER a brief flirtation with the small press, Frazer Irving began his comics career in earnest by illustrating Tharg’s Future Shocks for 2000 AD. His association with the self-styled Galaxy’s Greatest Comic began in 2000 and continued for the next seven years although his first US work – Dark Horse’s four-issue Fort: Prophet of the Unexplained – came in 2002 with The Authority: Scordched Earth one-shot following for DC/WildStorm in 2003. His break came when he collaborated with famed writer Grant Morrison on DC’s Seven Soldiers: Klarion the Witch Boy four-parter. That was in 2005, the same year he illustrated Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein: The Graphic Novel for Puffin, The following year Irving drew the six issues of Iron Man: Inevitable for Marvel for which he also illustrated 2007’s Silent War six-parter. Over the years he has become increasingly in demand as a cover artist although he has not entirely neglected his storytelling, which he has limited to miniseries, short runs and the occasional fill-in. Over the past few years his output has included Azrael: Death’s Dark Knight (2009; DC), Days Missing (2009, Archaia), Timestorm 2009/2099: X-Men (2009; Marvel), Batman and Robin (2010; DC), Xombi (DC; 2011) and The Shade (2012; DC). Most recently he has been drawing Uncanny X-Men for Marvel.
