I know people might think he's too famous (and expensive) but he's probably just this ordinary guywho works hard and would love to fill up some empty spaces in his schedule with conventions so his fans could see what a super guy he is.......but he never gets asked.........Aw! nicky Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) This is just speculation on my part but I actually think one of the not-so-obvious (and main) reasons that some stars might not be interested in doing cons is because of PRIDE. No star wants to be 'reduced' to having to do a con...in doing so they can be seen as admitting defeat and losing credibility in the eyes of the media as washed-up has-beens. A star has to think of his reputation not only to his fans but also the media and public image. I'm sure they love to meet fans but they do enough of that anyway at premieres etc. and dont wanna be accused of ripping off fans by charging for autos. I remember SM did MusicMania a few years ago with guests like Paul Young, Blaze from Iron Maiden, The Cheeky Girls and members of Steps etc. There was a tabloid journo there who covered the event who eventually ripped the absolute crap out of the guests for being reduced to being there as well as the event in general.
